Today, we are taking our ARRMA Typhon 6s V4 for a speed runwe ran it 3s and 6s!
We are SO excited to see how fast it will go and see if it will beat our current top speed which was 82km/h with the Traxxas Maxx.
So, how fast do you think it will go? If you have one, comment below what your top speed is!

I like your channel more than "The Rc Saylors".. I once left a comment on one of their videos, that said "why is abby always crashing the rcs.." and I got negative response like "why do you care?" Or something rude like that.. like they got butt hurt too quick... anyway i wish your channel prosperity.

My friend's ECX AMP MT (Brushless on 3s) with a 4000kv motor on stock gearing can get up to about 70mph! 😂 I'm a torque guy so i love my lower kv motors, mine is 3000kv and can hit around 50mph and loves to pull wheelies 😂
And now i just need a motor fan 😂

You will like the speed gears. Have mine setup for road with a SMC 90C 6s battery on Hoons tires. Clocking 86mph..138kmh

Nice vid, btw i got my UDR! and i love it. Currently only running on 1 4s lipo because it has that new car smell. But pretty soon ill go 2x3s all the way.
That's awesome!! UDR definitely one of our favorites (if not still our number one favorite 😁) 4s it runs well! But you wait until 6s 😏😏
Great review. I just bought the 3S, If you were to put a set of Hoons on the 3s, would you need to change caster, camber and toe-in?

There are so many! Depends on your budget too. The Arrma 3s line is pretty tough, our senton 3s is virtually indestructible! You should check out our durability test we done on it here ruclips.net/video/6KGX1ihInSI/видео.html the maxx and slash are also very tough! 🍻
Not got my 3s typhoon off 50% yet, dont know how you 4s and 6s guys do it !

(Just an FYI) You guys should get a temperature gun and keep track of the motor's temperatures, look In the manual to see what heat the motor and esc can handle!

TheRcKiwis No problem! A cheap one around $15 would probably be fine! By the way, you dont need to check temperatures every 5 minutes, just keep it in check every once in a while just in case.
If you can’t hold your finger to the motor than it’s too hot.

Once you put the high speed gear it’s gonna be an animal the most I would do is a 16tooth off road you will get the sum good speed with little over heating

I was able to get 66mph on all stock gearing and stock motor and each. I was very surprised to have reached that speed. used a 6000mah 100c yowoo 6s battery pack

@@Chris-adams-rc-journey Hello. I started with the 3S (and it remains one of my favorites), then grabbed the 6S (even turned punch up). That thing is a rocket 🚀 . I later added the 6S Kraton as well (a beast of a truck!!).

Hello again. I need your help please. I bought this yesterday. Guy at hobby shop sold me 2 Smart 5000 50c 3s 11.1v (SPMX50003S50H5). They fit but shell will not go on.
Yeah... that’s the problem with the 6s buggy, can be hard to find batteries with decent capacity to fit in there. Soft packs are your best bet or a single 6s LiPo. That’s what we were running today in our typhon. Video coming soon! 😁🍻

These things are so much fun and are addicting 😆

For real, the 3s typhon will get to like 45mph stock and is way zippier. Something was wrong lol maybe the battery wasnt high enough c rating

Hey bro awesome video! You need minimum of 5000 mAh and 60c battery to run the typhon the way it should safely! It's in the manual bro. Good speed run 🙏

That seemed very slow on 3s. The arrma 3s does 50mph stock on 3s
