I’m marking it, prototype is easy, manufacturing is hard. He failed before, and he doesn’t have the software or battery that can compete with Tesla. This is just another vaporware trying to cash in on the EV IPO hype.

@@KP-yi4nu Tesla buys battery from all 3, I’m talking about future. Euro model Y is using Tesla’s 4680 cell, and Panasonic will also be producing some of Tesla’s new battery cell chemistry. How is fisker going to get that battery without paying Tesla? Seems you are kinda behind on what’s going on. Fisker can’t compete lol, you’ll see.
@@sganet_ he doesn't need to overtake or even really compete with tesla to create a successful business. I think its amusing how elon fan boys get so bent out of shape over another EV company and try to drag it down. Even elon will admit that this is what he wants. It all benefits everyone.

With the equity stake that magna is taking 6% and further additional equity options, I think that fisker is a legit play. Beautiful suv with a solar panel roof under 49k USD. Nobody is currently offering that price point.

@@michelmcdonnell8169 The roof is optional and probably won't make a significant impact on the overall performance. Other than that - totally agree. Fisker doesn't have to be another Tesla, it will carve its own place in the market.
So how many of you like myself kicked yourself for not buying TSLA back in 2010? I'm not missing out on an opportunity like that again. A lot of people don't know that Tesla hired Henrik Fisker to perform the initial design work on the Tesla Model S electric sedan back in 2007 which was later released in 2012. I believe in Henrik Fisker's vision and the future of this company and his first class board of directors including Bill McDermott. I'm all in!
Henrik was indeed hired by Tesla back in the day. The EV market is slowly becoming a soap opera. Or Hollywood, where everyone has been dating everyone. Grab your popcorn, the show is about to begin!

I think he learned his lesson by partnering with Magna to be able to take advantage of economies of scale. In addition, build quality could potentially be better than Tesla(minus the software).

Fisker is trying to become the US version of NIO. NIO has already proven the fabless EV business model does indeed work.
This guy had the first EV vehicle in the market, even before Tesla and has the background. Former BMW designer and the cars are sleek!

I’ve seen the older model Fiskers on the road here in California. They are head-turners. I’m a firm believer that you learn more from your failures than successes. If Henrik can work out the kinks in his previous vehicles, this company will be solid. I’m onboard for the ride and bought a good number of shares to hold for the long run.
I saw a Fisher on the road! I thought it was not in production yet. How is that possible? It looked fantastic.

Good interview. This is a very speculative investment but a reasonable proposition. Magna is a capable supplier, but I question the assertion that FSR will be cash flow positive in just a few years. I think FSR needs star engineering in addition to the star designer. FSR should do a design competition for major components -batteries, motors, control...

No he got rejected my Tesla so he went on to design karma fisker he is the designer of Ashton Martian
Lucid Motors CEO (Peter Rawlingston) use to work at Tesla and he was Chief Engineer for Model S when it first started. But Lucid is a private company, the Saudi's invested into Lucid.

No offense to Henrik but after reading up on the history of Fisker and there cara I am not optimistic of his chances now considering its No longer competing just against tesla
You have to take into consideration that the karma was launched in a era where EV technology was barely being developed, today EV tech is sustainable and had been proven to work, even Tesla had problems back then

Besides, Tesla was funded by the government otherwise it would have fallen on its face out of the gate. At least Henrik Fisker’s doing it the right way.
My man wants a 2nd chance. Fisker Karma was a nightmare story in EV, design is nice but the car is junk. Obviously now he is focusing on Fisker Ocean SUV but just google it to see how many reservation does Fisker have for the SUV.... The actual numbers don't lie.

So the idiots at Morgan Stanley think Fisker is a good company now. They Upgraded their outlook on Fisker and downgraded Lordstown Motors. Even though Lordstown motors is about ready to start production on the first real EV truck. And Fisker has no clue what they’re doing and will most likely go bankrupt once again

Fisker is not a good investment because its company growth is too slow compare with Nio, Xpev, Li-auto, and Tesla.
Why putting money in Fisker now? The price is $16.30 which is ridiculously high for this small company. If you really like Fisker, would be a buy if it drops to $9.

@@JIMMEINFANTRY Tesla is a tech company, not a car company, clearly you know nothing. I’d rather buy Xpeng than Karma, their new factory can deliver 100k+ vehicles and their sales are rapidity scaling up as you can see in their quarterly report. Karma failed before, so unlike other EV startups, they have negative credit and reputation. Which means, until I see their vehicles on the road for a period of time without any major recalls or safety issues, I will not even consider them. If you want a more guaranteed long term investment that’s similarly priced, I’d buy SBE (Chargepoint) which is going IPO end of this year. With a $3bn company valuation, a massive expansion in NA and EU, they are also in-revenue and has been successful for about a decade. That makes way more sense to invest in than another pipe dream.
