Is one of these options always aimed for?
Or can each one be good for another reason depending on the reason for the epi layer?

Thanks for these words as it really motivates me. I am planning to continue this playlist on my new RUclips channel. I will reach out to you as soon as new content is ready. The basic concept would always remain same that education should remain free and accessible to all.

Which properties can be change of semiconductor, when there's no lattice matching...?

      Hi Friend,
Basically band gap of a semiconductor change with the lattice constant. And this lattice contastant can be manipulated by etching different permeable membrane layers. If there is no lattice matching , then band gap would increase exponentailly and hence affect the properties of semiconductor.
Thanks. Feel free to ask your queries and subscribe my channel

      Hello Arooba,
I would personally suggest to read Ben G. Streetman book on Solid State Electronic Devices. Its a really good standard book. It will help you to formulate your basic concepts.
