Ya really, understatement and underrated for sure, what a drag the world lost Michael when he was not only still writing sounding and playing better with every day he was alive, his passion and his genius will never be seen again, so unique, his notes were the best I've ever heard, how amazing him and Randy played and how long they blessed us with there genius.
@lizard218 Personally IMO, I wouldn't say that this is why Stern sticks out from the other guitarists, because most of the cats who are at this level of playing do it. And there are quite a few players who are Hendrix reincarnation like Michael Landau, they are the utlimate tone manipulators (not just rig-wise, but the way they have amazing control over the instrument and odd articulations). I think Stern sticks out because of his amazing note choices and phrasing. Lot's of sax players in him.
Mike Stern
These guys are simply amazing 👏👏 RIP Mike Brecker ❤🙏
One of the most emotional guitar solo ever!!
The most exhilirating song the Brecker Brothers ever did with just about the most perfect guitar solo backed by a megaband. Heaven.

Stern is one of the most gifted guitarist that I have heard play. His transitions between riffs seems so effortless.
Perfect song for the best guitar solo in all of life!!!
Checks out
My first thoughts when I heard Mike Stern's solo were "That's something I would play if God was in the audience." The ending is ABSOLUTELY EPIC!
Tight...truely some of the greatest musicians to ever play music!!!! Thanks for posting, i really wanna get this concert on DVD.
