Yes that was absolutely silly, I put water into a wall and then ... it just stayed there nice and neat until I added more water and then INSTANT WATERFALL. lol

Waterlogging is a thing in VS. You can have water source block and a slab in one block space.

Good question. IRL ingots weigh like 60kg, so its not reasonable to think a lantern, made with 2 plates, would be 120kg. I suppose its why this game doesn't even attempt to have weight other than encumbrance from armor.
