United Cutlery did something good here. They took sweet designs by a legend, licensed them and made them affordable for people to enjoy. I always see people giving these knives crap and really they don’t deserve it. Awesome for collecting and useable, not all of them are but you can always spend your hard earned money on a real custom 😬if u want.

If it's true to their norm, it's most likely a 3/4 hidden tang. These knives are built for a single purpose, self defense. If you use it for that, it will last forever

Nothing like testing a gigantic hunk of 7crWhatever by smashing it into a TINY piece of wood. You can take a tiny little butter knife and cut that piece of wood. For the next test, try dropping it on cement a few times, blade down, and you will see what 7 cr something steel is like. This is a beautiful, sharp, temporary knife. You want a SHARP knife you need s30v, n690, 3v, or better. Anything less than that is worse and you have to pay money to discover that. Don't waste your money buying things like this when you can save your money and get one good knife.
It's the same exact blade except it has a tiny plastic tab that will pop out if you actually use the knife. Also it costs more money. So I went with the regular version since the regular version pretty much is the same thing without the plastic tab and less cost

hibben knives are good looking , but they have a major problem , that being the tang , the tang only goes about three inches into the handle ! they are wall hangers , not users !
exactly. The tangs on many of them suck. But I absolutely hammer down on a couple Hibben models are they are tough as nails. This one is a rib poker defense blade and shouldn't be considered more than that

Have you ever used a knife in close quarter combat? My combat blade still has blood stain. One time here, two guys tried to jump me. I pulled out my blade ready to use, but they left when they saw it. Just because I was ready to use it doesn't mean it didn't deter them.

I have both. May be AUS6. Mine said stainless so I threw out a guess.
