I received this Dbad musso Bowie this week and it's better then expected. The size, shape and just overall beauty of this knife is absolutely remarkable. Truly a beauty and a beast of a knife. I have 4 Dbad designed knives now and they are all amazing! Thank KKKH Nepal and Donnie for truly making gorgeous and beastly knives at such an affordable price. I truly can't say enough good things about you guys!
I have to say, while the Gil Hibben versions of the Musso are intentionally designed to be eye catching knives, this one is very attractive in its own unique way. Not to mention being the only knife to scare Sasquatch into another time zone.
My Big Jim came in today and I have to say, its awesome. I also got the Roughlander and its hard to pick a favorite because they are both great blades. For such a large knife the Big Jim has perfect balance and feels like an extension of your hand.
That one has my heart. As a Texan I appreciate you honoring the Alamo, a Sacred place to us...and the Musso is the most beautiful knife made, IMO. And that one is the finest. I have 2 more Ronin Katana swords to buy and then I'll carry that DBAD Musso in horizontal as my EDC, the way I carry a custom one now...in horizontal carry...hope the scabbard fits in my frog, if not I'll get another leather frog. I need that one,great job all the way around. Actually that may be better in a shoulder carry. My 10 inch blade works, but that one is a beast!!
Well Donnie it’s 2am and I just ordered mine. The wife and I just finished watching this video. I had to show her the glory of the Dbad Musso show she understood why I asked her for the green light to have one made. I’m happy to report she loves it!!!
This is a sick design! I’ll see if I can get one with a sharpened swedge just for my own personal satisfaction, but it’s hard to really improve on this design.

I just ordered my first KHHI knife last week. They are custom making a power hammer Bowie for me. Customizing the handle for my medium size hands. I hate huge handles. Can’t wait to see it. If they go a good job, and I’m confident they will, then I will be ordering more knives from them.

I'd love to see a "do I still love it" on the SZCO Primitive. Especially now that the Big Jim has been out for a good while. The Hibbens are still the most attractive of the lot, imo, but light use mostly. That SZCO seems like a serious banger that goes easy on the wallet. Even a Vs. the Big Jim would be cool, just to see what that Primitive bowie can really do
I think I still have it. You cant go as hard on the primitive do to the tang, but at least it can still be used. The Hibs are definitely the prettiest. Neither as hardcore as the BJ

I’ve been saving up to purchase some of your knife designs, which I just ordered your trench knife from Croco. I’m also looking to do a bulk order from Khukuri House and this would be one of the knives I would order along with a Mission II and the Commando knife. What’s ur opinion on getting this one with a sharpened swedge? I’m torn between leaving it the way you designed it or adding a sharpened swedge. Thanks for all the great designs!
Its accurate in blade design to the one Bowie himself carried. For me, thats why I would never alter it. Also, doing that, you remove sturdiness from the tip
Ok, I got this blade the other day and I am so impressed. This is the be-all end-all blade for me. It’s a little weighty after swinging it, but I always wanted to build my arms up. I don’t think I’ll need another knife ever again 😆 It has that perfect musso style and the colour scheme is great too. I’d like to see a version of this with a nice stag handle too

I’ve looked at a lot of musso bowies and none of them really matched up to what I like - either too small, weird cross guard, big ugly writing on it etc., but this one is friggin massive, perfect s guard, and the brand markings are so modest they’re barely visible. There are a couple ugly spots on it that I think KH could have polished out better, but that doesn’t really bother me. Plus the welded on spine guard… bro! I have full confidence in the quality and durability. I can’t wait to get out into the woods this weekend and chop some shit up with it. And all the boys at work loved it too! I think you might get a couple more orders for it out to Napanee Ontario

I like the size of the knife and I would comment that the brass spine on older models was meant to catch the opponent's knife; the opponent would bite into the brass and Jim Bowie or whomever would use that moment to their advantage. If you mentioned that, I missed it. There aren't many techniques that I've been exposed to that support this catching method. Knife fighting is quick and decisive, not nearly as romantic as in the movies. Brass or no brass, I must de-fang the snake, first. Happy Father's Day.
the brass is great for defense as it absorbs shock from an enemies weapon. A full hit to a brass guard left a danger of the guard being cut off, but it was less likely to happen. Plus, brass is so soft it was easy for forgers to shape into what ever was needed
I really dig that bowie design DBAD. And I agree yours is better than the original. I i love the steel guard and spine cover a lot Better than brass. I still can't wait to see your Mission 2 knife released.
I love Bowie knives and they are attractive to me especially since I want to make bows but I want to carry as less as possible. It looks promising especially when I harvest some staves. I like big knives and cannot lie. I think other brothers can't deny either XD.

I wonder? Did they use brass to catch the other blade? They throw a strike, sinks in a milliliter into the brass and gets.... better contained? Rather than steel where it would bounce off? Idk you tell me buddy.

I like the size of the knife and I would comment that the brass spine on older models was meant to catch the opponent's knife; the opponent would bite into the brass and Jim Bowie or whomever would use that moment to their advantage. If you mentioned that, I missed it. There aren't many techniques that I've been exposed to that support this catching method. Knife fighting is quick and decisive, not nearly as romantic as in the movies. Brass or no brass, I must de-fang the snake, first. Happy Father's Day.
the brass is great for defense as it absorbs shock from an enemies weapon. A full hit to a brass guard left a danger of the guard being cut off, but it was less likely to happen. Plus, brass is so soft it was easy for forgers to shape into what ever was needed

I really dig that bowie design DBAD. And I agree yours is better than the original. I i love the steel guard and spine cover a lot Better than brass. I still can't wait to see your Mission 2 knife released.

I love Bowie knives and they are attractive to me especially since I want to make bows but I want to carry as less as possible. It looks promising especially when I harvest some staves. I like big knives and cannot lie. I think other brothers can't deny either XD.
