The DryBell Unit67 is an all analog 1176 inspired compressor, active EQ and high headroom boost in one easy-to-use package. The goal of the Unit67 was to bring out all the nuances of your playing, much like what happens when you play through a very loud amp and every single move you make on the fretboard is clear and upfront. To accomplish this great synergy, a low noise, parallel compressor allows you to blend the dry signal back into the mix to retain your dynamics while the high and low input account for various guitar signals and threshold levels. The Unit67 has been engineered to be simple to use and for this reason, the attack, release and ratio have been factory set and the main knob is simply the output boost level, which is capable of over 20dB alone and double that with EQ engaged. The switchable EQ includes Bass and Treble that can cut or boost select frequencies while a sweepable Midrange allows Rangemaster style voicings to help you cut through as your shaping, boosting and compressing. Like we’ve seen with other DryBell effects, the Unit67 is handbuilt with high quality components in Croatia and can run on 9-18V DC.

    Andy rules.
Gotta get one of these - sweepable mids on a compressor is so brilliant.

Great demo and playing. I love this pedal. I have had one for a little over a month now and I can't seem to ever turn it off. It sounds great by itself and it also makes every other pedal I use sound better.

@@johnpalmer1005 workstation is the only comparable option, it is huge and doesn't have as flexible of EQ options.
I'm trying to decide if I like this or the Jackson Audio Bloom more...

This is a very expensive pedal, but it's really cool. I think it's something that a lot of guitar players would find extremely useful and versatile. I know that I really want one.

Intro has a Strat in neck position ..with such a Bridge tone?.???...I'm puzzled ...unless the LP overrides the mix.

Finger-style is a great technique...but not for pedal demos. Incorporating much more pick (for pick attack) and finger-style on occasions would be more suited for demos like these. Andy's a great player but I can't watch anymore. And like many of us, I use finger-style in my own playing but most of us are pickers most of the time. Andy, obviously, is not.

gtrsuite This is how I play guitar. Honestly a few initial milliseconds of plastic attack doesn’t change the behavior or feature set of pedals.

gtrsuite, If you're going to fuss about that, consider the variability in sound and attack from one plectrum maker to the next. Dunlop Nylons sound distinctive from Fender Mediums. Pick your battles and just enjoy the demo 😂.

never change Andy! For whatever reason, you’re fingers actually do almost sound like a pick. I’ve been trying to master this for myself, as I’ve always been more comfortable with fingers touching strings. It’s a technique with many advantages over the pick. Don’t conform! You’re an inspiration!

You know what they say about oppinions?
Apparently, many pedal builders and buyers disagree. Andy is one of, if not the best, to do demos. You see the pedal in the context of a song, then he breaks down the features. Alot of production goes into his demos.
Also, his attack is so good, I keep looking for the ghost pick.
