Use a picklock 3 of them, space's sufficient that curve up, if you feel something going up, the position is correct then direct another picklock in and repeat.
This is actually a style of lock they were using for thousands of years, dating back to before the greeks. It was pretty effective for a slab of wood for basic security
Glad to see we came to the same epiphany about Kyou's brother and Kana at the same time. Though knowing before hand that Kyou's flashback had information useful in Kana's route was slightly cheating Nice to see Kyou only got better with time. All her cg's were really cute and we got mild confirmation that they aren't secretly somehow related. In that case, I am a bit dubious about what part of the flashback was alluding to Kana other than the "mysterious girlfriend" angle.
read they chose one person to hold the key and gave him food so he didnt starve and run to open the gate and let invaders in so he could get out or die fast, others slowly starved
This is the basics on how most locks work, not just ancient locks... Keys have to be correct width and have channels on side and teeth need to be the correct size too...
You are using a Lego brick lock. It can be opened using a Lego brick lock. -McNally, probably

This takes me back to the elder scrolls, hoping you don't run out of lockpicks or the guards see you breaking in.
The problem with old locks like this is if you close too slowly the last pin can drop into the first chamber.

Surprisingly, modern tools aren't as easy to use with these so things like masterlock can be picked faster, but these were still vulnerable as hell

That "click" is just... Perfect.
*Emperor's New Groove reference.
Course the correct one is gold.
In other words, exactly the same way we still make most locks to this day.

This is why lockpicking in Skyrim is so easy compared to the real thing. Locks were just that easy.

These locks were made by the ancient Egyptians. The Egyptians were also made out of Lego. That is why they look so stiff and angular in the paintings.
