Everything he stands for is a turn off to my husband and I and all our friends both gay and straight. A few of us had our hearts set on getting a Tesla this year or next year and all of us (myself included) will no longer even think about purchasing a Tesla. And for all those that say separate the man and the company. That’s a hard NO! all of us feel the same way and I have sold off 90% of my Tesla stock and will continue to sell the remaining 10% as the price increases. He is utterly shameful and disgusting. We are the ones that marched 50 plus years ago to get our rights not only for us but for the generations of women to come. To see the overturn of Roe vs Wade broke my heart. It still has me bewildered... how so many people can ignore these points. The things Trump has said and done... are so reprehensible. I'm paying attention now. I do not want Trump is office again. Our democracy would never have survived a second term with Trump in power. Now, we know it won't be for just 4 years it will be Trump until he dies. I never paid attention to dictatorships does it go down to one of his kids after death? I don't want any of them either.

@@hammill444cause the polling is off this year in the opposite direction it was off in 2016. The polls fail at capturing independent voters, they treat skewed results as outliers that need to be weighted to the last election and they use other polling firms to calibrate their results. If every poll does those things you will drift to a 50/50 race.

The GOP has long been successful in conflating educated/expert/knowledgeable with elite/obscenely wealthy/oligarchical. Ironically, by and large, the former tend to be Democrat while the latter tend to be Republican. So, yet again (as has often been pointed out) every accusation ("They don't care about you! They're making your life worse and harder! They think they're superior to you!") is a confession. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to convince the Trump uneducated that they're backing the wrong horse and propping up those intent on keeping them down.
You can be smart without a college degree. There are plenty of paths to gain wisdom. It's that kind of elitism that turns people to voting for Trump.. They aren't looking at policy, they sense the disdain the political class has for them and their vote is an act of resistance to that.
Kamala has done a better job of speaking to those voters, but it's a big push because there's a reflexive reaction among some to her identity that she has to overcome.
I never finished any of my college programs, but I'd still vote for Harris/Walz if I could!

Today was a beautiful day to vote! My experience is unacceptable for anyone to experience. I did not vote on a political party, it was on experience, education, trust, and character. Someone that will lead our country with dignity, protection, and fairness to all no matter what color, race, or religion we are.
