The dichotomy here of both Mr robot and Elliot is so good! I really enjoy your judgement of Elliot's character and acknowledging that what he did was real fucked up. And I love that you noticed that Mr Robot hates it, it really felt like this episode was the definitive mark of the "character shift" so to speak, between the two. As opposed to season 1, where Elliot has to fight back against Mr robot who wanted to BLOW UP steel mountain because people would die and he viewed it as completely irrational, now it’s ELLIOT crossing those lines and hurting people, from being a dick to Darlene to drugging Olivia, it’s clear that Elliot is now becoming what he once hated in Mr robot, while the latter watches on as all he can do is warn Elliot about the dangers of crossing those lines. Excellent reaction as always 🔥
