    For guys the easiest jobs to get are those that include heavy lifting. Like warehouse jobs. Pays above minimum but you need to be very fit

    Hi Rachel! I'm intending to study in Canada this August. I just finished 12th grade in my home country and never had any experience in retail work.
    However I did join some student organizations while in high school and volunteered a lot. I also tutored some students (but I feel like it's not related to retail). Should I include all of these in my resume? What else can I do to increase my chance as someone with no experience? Thank you!

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  3 года назад +1

      The answer to your question really depends on your work experience and whether that work is available and in demand here. Also, another thing to consider is whether your work is considered a regulated profession in Canada. Certain jobs are regulated, like accounting, law, or medicine. So, you will need to be properly licensed and registered in order to work in those fields.

    Hi Rachel! I've been watching your vlogs for quite some time now and I am planning to take my PDD at Langara College, Vancouver.
    I have done so many research about this city and I came across some articles and a youtube video about Vancouver being the loneliest city in the world. What are your insights and thoughts about this based on your personal experiences?

    • @rrdancel

      It felt lonely at first. But, eventually you will settle into life here. You will meet new people with similar interests. You will likely meet friends from school or colleagues from work. It just takes awhile. Either way, there are so many groups you can join for newcombers to this country. Its all about making effort to connect with people. I know many people don’t make the effort and complain that its lonely here in 😊
