This was my favorite Korean BBQ in OC for almost 30 years, Seoul Garden BBQ Buffet. They closed during the pandemic and this place came in. I ALMOST tried it the other day, but wound up two doors down at Yang's Braised Chicken
This place is not bad but, the interior had not been updated since it was Seoul Buffet like in the early 2000’s. Venting situation does not exist. Expect to smell like oil and smoke after you eat here!
That’s why its $20 vs other Korean bbq you can spend easily $100 and still be hungry

Looks amazing! But if I was at that plaza, I’d definitely go to Yang’s Braised Chicken Rice next door. If you haven’t tried it, I’d recommend it.

This used to be Seoul garden Korean bbq, it was there for over 25 years and was one of the best in southern Calif. most of the decor is from the original. this place hopes to be half as great...
The Chinese restaurant a few doors down, Sichuan Impression, is supposed to be one of the best too.

For OC I always remember Garden Grove for Korean bakery or tofu houses. Alhambra I think is so underrated for best quality Asian foodie ness in America. This restaurant looks delish. Their website said since 2015, so it's good that COVID can't cause a shutdown. Black pink reference...

this is my go to KBBQ restaurant in OC. Be sure and check their yelp to see how the wait is and check in on there to get in queue.

I miss great Korean BBQ (sometimes called Japanese BBQ). We don't have anything anywhere close to this experience in Seattle (home of the dull), not even on South Tacoma Way.
Been eating there since the early 90s since it was Seoul Gardens
this place was horrible, side dishes were really bad too. I was very disappointed since it was rated number 1 in OC. I'd rather go to I can BBQ or All that BBQ that is a couple miles away that is way better.
I've been here twice now. It's pretty darn good for the price but the interior is old and outdated. Food is fricking tasty though
When you cook marinated meat, set it to the low medium heat. High heat gives burnt crust still uncooked inside.

That used to be Seoul Garden. I have been eating there since SG open 25+ years ago. Haven't eaten there since the ownership changed. The most importance question. How did the Cheese and corn replace the soft serve ice cream machines? You need to soft serve to cut all of that salty food you just shoved down your throat.

wow u are pretty good chopstick user I'm very hard to use that I use fork it little bit difficult on me haha I go there pretty often coz have a very fresh meat and vegetables sometimes!! they no me and I give them a very nice tip too they like me they give me a two or more for free 😉!! same price haha I spend every year over $90 puls tip $65 more they like me so much 🙂🙂👍👍

As an oc native nothing in California let alone Oc cost 19.99 for all you can eat and it does not give high likelihood of food poisoning. Imagine the low quality of meat and dealers the restaurant works with to get meat this cheap

i just went yesterday after watching your video! omg it was so good. the staff were friendly and i found out they are opening a location closer to me. the we paid $24.99 for their A selection lunch which offered i think 32 items. the other option was $38.99 for B which offered 44 different items. i loved that they had different meats on their buffet line to go and select while we waited for the non marinated options. i cant wait to see what other places you do to in my area!
Here in oc, we consider this the old people kbbq, while places like gen and Mr bbq are the hip ones where they bring the meat put to you

1. Mr bbq in Fullerton
2. Baekjong in Rowland
Everything else is second to these two, ask anyone and everyone
Mr BBQ is overrated and over priced

This is the best buffet for the price. Nice.
While some of the selection are a bit unusual, with many being very similar to each other, and the options confused me, and there are a couple things I wish they had on the menu that they don't, overall I loved it here!

They charge extra for a single person. Ate lunch and went to pay when I noticed extra charges on my bill. They told me there is an additional charge if you eat alone. There was nothing written anywhere stating that. This was the only restaurant anywhere that charged extra for coming by yourself. Never going back

I looked on their website and it seems like if you go in there to eat by yourself, they charge you $24.99. Is that the case? There are lots of rules on their menu.

Because of the popularity of this video, the service and quality has dropped greatly. Went there today and was there for 1 1/2 hours and only got 6 plates for 4 people. No rice was ever available. No macaroni salad as well as several of the other sides. When you spend all that money and leave hungry because you never get service you find somewhere else to go. My family will not be returning.
