The ingame map is not totally canon to the true size of the continent of teyvat... Traveler literally travel for months to go nation to nation while ingame you can go by minutes not even 1 day in game time.. The size of the ingame map is too small to call it regions and i think theres a large area between each nation... If you want to see the real size of tetvat you can wait for the release of the anime.. even the teaser of anime shows how big monstadt is compared to the ingame counterpart.
Regardless, judging from the cutscenes, it appears that the water has ceased spreading to the sides, suggesting it has encountered certain walls and is now only rising.@@JohnCivor
Amazing video! I love how Fontaine is all about jazzy theater, lies, and deception. Alongside the metaphors of them literally being risen as they see highly of themselves and so many ruins and even parts of the city being shrunken and drowned within the waves.
I would like to know the connection between The Chasm ruins and Enkanomiya, why are they look similar? And speaking of Enkanomiya, there is a small ruins in Fontaine that have similar style, what connection do they have? Have people talked about this lore?
Idk if it's confirmed per say but enka, chasm, and Sal Vigdagnir are all remnants of the unified civilization. They're all found in expansion areas released later on in the regions' release so most likely we will see something in 4.5-4.7 about the unified civilization [may or may not be Remuria] X.5 patches are usually a dainslief quest so we may see it there.🤔 Edit to add: idk that we had any unified civilization relics in Sumeru other than maybe possibly Gurabad? The architecture doesn't match up tho..so idk if that really tracks. Tbh I thought Gurabad was post-unified civilization, but thinking about it Idk that we have any other old civilizations in Sumeru 🤔 Edit to the edit nvm there are some in sumeru underground although still not really explained if gurabad? Idk if it is..🤭
I loved them! I've been thinking about doing a review sort of video on the Archon Quests, but I still need to lay down some framework for that kind of video. But overall, they blew my expectations out of the water!
And just a second comment - how come there are so many ruins around fontaine court, what were their purpose and how did they get destroyed? And another thing, why didnt the people of fontaine just leave if everyone thought they would die soon.
firstly the ruins are from remuria which is an ancient civilization like khaneriah and secondly people didn't care much for the prophecy because it may not come true and even if it did come true, fontanians beleived that their true origin is water so it's okay to return where they came from
Also, this is a magical prophecy with the manipulation of fate, it is quite possible that Fontaineans basically could not leave even if they wanted to and would have returned during the fulfillment of the prophecy if they already left Fontaine.
WAIT!?? So Elynas is not the remains of the Hydro Dragon? So that skeleton is not the predecessor of Neuvillette???!!! So I was wrong this entire time!!!??
Sorry, yeah. XD I believe the former incarnation of the Hydro Sovereign was named Scylla. I'm hoping we get more info about Scylla in the possible upcoming Remuria chapter.
@@amouramarie Dang it! Now I gotta change up Neuvillette’s dragon design AND the name of the previous Hydro Dragon. I wrote a fanfic expanding more about Neuvillette. Might have to rewrite a few chapters now.
Im just really confused about how the water levels would be able to rise that high without the rest of teyvat also flooded?
Magic, I assume.
My theory is that fontaine sunk down instead of the water rising up. So they sunk to a point below the water level compared to the other nations.

It's a wave, according to Furina during the event.

finally the "hello everyone" that I've been expecting for ages
For me, Furina and Neuvillette are wonders of Fontaine as well 😊

I definitely wanna look into this at some point, I'm guessing it has something to do with the Unified Civilization that existed long ago.

Ooooo if we can go to Remuria like how we can go to Enkanomiya, that would be amazing!
Welcome back~!
Yay hes back ❤
welcome back
Thank you very much
I wished Fontaine would be flooded forever. This way, everyone knows how to swim more.
Are you going to do more artifact and weapon lore videos?
I do want to, yes! I have a few topics I want to cover first, but I'll be continuing those again soon!
@@SiliconOneFour I look forward to them 👍🏻
Nice to see you back. How did you like Fontaine's AQ's?

Yes! I'll definitely be making that soon!
Love itttt ❤❤❤❤❤
Cool
i love the video buti think some other stuff like the tower or nar... and other stuff would fit it better and floating cudes too
Like I said at the start, this video only focuses on wonders from 4.0. 4.1 and 4.2 will be featured in next week's video.

14:02 be honest, how tries did it took you to say the thing right
Honestly that was my first take, I've said it so many times on stream at this point
@@SiliconOneFour damn, pop off. I could not say the word and sound so naturally at the same time, especially after the meme
The floating cubes?
As I said at the beginning, this video only focuses on areas introduced in 4.0. 4.1 and 4.2 areas will be featured in a video next week though!
damn unrelated but i thought it was OCEAN-nid but it's oh-see-nid 😭?? that's actually embarrassing
You're not alone, I used to pronounce it OCEAN-nid as well, then the Archon Quests were like "Uhm no, you're wrong"
