@@renee2529 sad…..I was very critical of Elevation because I don’t agree with Steven Furtick or maybe it’s just his style of preaching. Then my spirit was listening to KLove and I start digging and so many of their songs resonate. Same with some of Bethel. No Longer Slaves is an anthem for a generation raised on rock and soul. You can love the old hymns and appreciate gonna get loud by elevation. Like the song says, Why Can’t We Praise Him As Loud As We Want?

The video is so profound and poetic. Everything we count as our physical reality is sinking sand, and we literally struggle through it all. Dull and lifeless until we look to the eternal which transcends our physical senses. In the eternal through Christ Jesus we find life and meaning. I also see the different videos of things we’d typically count as achievements and trophies and advancement in this life (or technology, excellence by our human standards in things like sports, and other human accomplishments.) all these things cannot be relied upon. They’re all sinking sand. Only the eternal which seems the most mundane and unrealistic can actually bring us back from a dull life where we are just coasting and struggling, to a vibrant life in Christ Jesus where we are soaring like eagles. Just like it was for the man in the video. So deep.
The added sample of On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand in the background really captures the message of this song; it’s a gorgeous creation ❤️

3:44 I don't know which words I can use to explain the complexity and beauty of this song. When I see this part, it seems to explain the whole song in a nutshell. To me, this part says that every little insignificant thing on earth is there, so are the big ones : sport, time, water, waves, runners, space, landscapes, thunder, people, the earth, and etcetera but everything is sinking sand, Jesus is the only rock I can be on, cause everything that we know is unsure. It always mesmerizes me, so I wanted to share to know if anybody had the same point of you as mine

@@mastertrams Actually "Cornerstone" is NOT a cover of "My Hope is built on nothing less (Solid Rock)", the 1834 hymn (which you can easily find on RUclips) although of course it's definitely inspired by it.
And now you know better, you could delete your comments on this thread then telling everyone that "Cornerstone" is being played at the beginning and the end of "Sure thing"!!

Best thing happened to me right now is I discovered this song. This is so different. A different vibe but with same approach of capturing hearts. Sometimes, I got tired of countless music that has same song structure, progression or melody. but this one hits so different.
