@@nickjohnson3619 There were autonomous towers with machineguns mounted on them with the IDF being able to man them. Turns out that before the attack the Al Qassam Brigades and the DFLP/PFLP militant wing dropped grenades from drones onto them destroying them.

Is this conflict that much different from the others? Besides, the West Bank is being slowly annexed, they are already destroying Palestine, this is an effort to try and save what they have left. Granted they can climb to reasonable altitudes but if they're trying to go low and strafe things then I really can't see that ending well
