oh that freaking movie-series. my god that was a based series. i saw it all right before i decided to tell netflix to go screw itself, and it was a blast. of course the characterization of lenin and trotzky might be a bit artistic licensed but i gotta say that one scene with lenin on the rooftops was crazy, and the entire thing is filled with incredibly based moments, and i specifically loved the way they chose to portray the death of trotzky.

Sailors were the ones to start the first revolution of 1905 and they were the ones who took Winter Palace in 1917. Sailors and marines felt the most opressed since the war with Japan in 1905 where the Tsar wasn't able to properly arm and motorise the Navy, while previously backwards Japan could. While the tragedy happened, the government covered it up like some heroic act of honour, instead of immidiately rush to change Russia's foreign and internal policy. Meanwhile industrialisation was stalling, every tech from Europe or US came with astronomical prices and conditions, while majority of wheat went abroad even during famine. Russia was put in position of Native Americans - forced to fight foreign powers for another foreign powers in exchange of basic modern goods and give up their land (resources in this case) and awayting eventuall extinction. Trotsky tried to create a proletariat based state, but disregard to soldiers and peasentry, while Stalin won by applying to soldiers, peasents and non-russian ethnic groups by saving military prestige, collectivisation and public education for peasents and institutionalising ethnic rights up to creation of republics (some even didn't ever existed before merging with Russia)

Even Thou I like Stalin more I like Trotsky for some extent as he did pave the path for victory in the revolution but it all would've been better if he didn't act like an opportunist but however I predict that Trotskyists and Stalin Supporters will have an reunity if another revolution happens for various reasons.

oh that freaking movie-series. my god that was a based series. i saw it all right before i decided to tell netflix to go screw itself, and it was a blast.
of course the characterization of lenin and trotzky might be a bit artistic licensed but i gotta say that one scene with lenin on the rooftops was crazy, and the entire thing is filled with incredibly based moments, and i specifically loved the way they chose to portray the death of trotzky.

Stalin's NKVD went crazy with condemning and fabricating evidence against many Bolsheviks (most of whom were completely innocent) , Stalin himself admitted this when he accused his loyal butcher Yezhov and executed him, and his cries of being loyal to Stalin and loving him more than anything in the world did not help him. But the executions and fabrications of evidence continued after Beria was in charge of the NKVD, which mean that Stalin was the problem not just those under him.

Stalin never ordered them to be killed, Stalin elaborate things he never been an actual leader that's why he stick as a general secretary for years because he really was great on planning making himself a logistical but politically sticking mastermind on his background. Stalin doesn't put his hands on a gun nor commanded a killing field, he never been on a torture room despite that he have some handle with it. So I dont think Stalin is a madman on ordering to kill someone, but his mates did as thats why actually he also becames a secretary. Stalins one charm is neutrality, anti-communist propaganda always depicted him as a strongman but like Stalin's action on this movie. Stalin is actually a more calmest and kindly ones on the Soviet side, there are times were Lenin hated him because he always letting something down which caused them an overall collapse if he feels threatened. Thats all he did based on his actions that were justified, I like that they still stick with this bossy guy without actually a dirty thing on Stalin's hands.

Stalin was known as a neutral, serious at work and very loyal according to Lenin. Like in this video he even supported Trotsky ideas that he use them afterwards. Stalin also was democratic, he isn't hungry power but known for greatly defending himself on his goverment positions and brought himself on power like this ashaming his political opponents once their spotlight started to fade. Stalin could be a robber but he was known for planning on it, he was rarely being seen in actual robberies and protection rackets. What is your question? The Sailors were some of the most revolutionary elements ever since the 1905 revolution.
Sailors were the ones to start the first revolution of 1905 and they were the ones who took Winter Palace in 1917. Sailors and marines felt the most opressed since the war with Japan in 1905 where the Tsar wasn't able to properly arm and motorise the Navy, while previously backwards Japan could. While the tragedy happened, the government covered it up like some heroic act of honour, instead of immidiately rush to change Russia's foreign and internal policy. Meanwhile industrialisation was stalling, every tech from Europe or US came with astronomical prices and conditions, while majority of wheat went abroad even during famine. Russia was put in position of Native Americans - forced to fight foreign powers for another foreign powers in exchange of basic modern goods and give up their land (resources in this case) and awayting eventuall extinction. Trotsky tried to create a proletariat based state, but disregard to soldiers and peasentry, while Stalin won by applying to soldiers, peasents and non-russian ethnic groups by saving military prestige, collectivisation and public education for peasents and institutionalising ethnic rights up to creation of republics (some even didn't ever existed before merging with Russia)
Steam ships were rather complicated and crews were educated better then ordinary russian people. Sailors also were connected to factory workers (via shipyards) and were influenced by red doctrine, which came from agitators of proletariat.

Even Thou I like Stalin more I like Trotsky for some extent as he did pave the path for victory in the revolution but it all would've been better if he didn't act like an opportunist but however I predict that Trotskyists and Stalin Supporters will have an reunity if another revolution happens for various reasons.
