- "Rossa Palestine" (Red Palestine) is an Italian anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian song written during the Years of Lead in Italy in 1973 by Umberto Fiori. Performed here by the Edizioni Movimento Studentesco.

this song shows how ignorant and ideologically biased were the Italian communists during '70s, the silly servants of Soviet Union which during '60s sided with Syria and Egypt and ordered all communist parties to follow them, so that from that moment communist propaganda (diffused by the Italian communist parties, its newwpsaper and all the organic intellectuals) began to tell that Israelians were capitalist oppressors and arabs were poor oppressed Palestinians. Their heirs are not wiser.

As a brazillian, i think this song is beautiful and unfortunatly still relevant today. I like how it does not just laments the genocide of the palestinians, but it actually talks about bravery and resistance. I loved how they draw a parallel from the italian resistance groups in the facist Italy to the palestinian resistance today, while denoucing the facist propaganda of the past and of today. In Brazil, the corporate media justifies the genocide in Palestine, just like they used to justify the military dictatorship from 1964 to 1988.

It is good to know that even in the US vassal states (NATO) there are people who can see through the propaganda and the benefits granted to you by imperialism. But I would like to extend this: As long as a settler colonialist state like this remains no people in the world will be truly free. Therefore the fight for a free Palestine is a fight of all of the world's working class, and it is the duty of every worker with a heart and desire for freedom to fight this fight.
I would like to end this by saying this: The demonstrations in Europe (mainly the one in London) have given me a lot of hope for the people of the Global North. Even if you didn't demonstrate thank you for seeing through the propaganda your people have been subjected to for decades.
