Or just tell the guy straight up “I’m here for a noise complaint”. The police get to keep secrets from the people they’re investigating, but expect that you tell them everything.
We need to start treating the police as if they don’t have a badge. So the police can’t allow that badge to get to their head. I can serve and protect just as well without a badge, I also don’t make a profit from citations.
