How do you do this on a desktop, not a phone app? Facebook on the desktop looks completely different from what this video shows. Thank you.
When I get tagged in the comments, when I click the notification it never takes me back to the exact comment just to the video and I have to go through all the comments to find mine
Same! It’s so annoying. It doesn’t take me to my comment at all. If someone responds I can’t reply to them again.

you can find the item you've commented on but if there are hundreds of more comments you've got no chance of finding your own . . facebook sucks
Facebook is so bad where you just cannot find your own comments even with that approach.
There should be a my comments option under every post alongside Most Recent Comments, New Comments and All Comments.
I've had to trench through 100s of comments weekly when someone responds back.
Very poor interfacing. Even if this did work it's too long a process when just going through comments looking for responses to your comments. It would help if notifications actually took you to your comments.
It worked, thank you!!!! You saved my sanity! I was so mad so many times when I would minimize the page to show it to my wife later and then the page disappeared when I opened the FB later. Grrrr.

I was literally screaming for the first 60 seconds of your video until it seemed that you are getting to the point but in the remaining 45 seconds I understood that you do not know how to search your comments on Facebook.
Quick and practical. Underrated video.
But “view” literally only brings you to the thing you commented on, not your actual comment. You need to search to find your comment.
Yup, and can’t use control f to search if it’s within a sub thread, needs opening before search can find it, Grrr.
but u just can simply delete comment via delete button, is that right?

Very helpful. But I think FB has changed slightly. At 00:59 you say clicking on Activity Log takes you to where you can select activities to search. I found it took me to a page from which you have to select Activity History as an intermediate step.

dunno what version of FB you have but i dont have 3 bars at the bottom of my FB and everything you said i dont even see on my android app.
Trevor , posts on news feed Relevant by FB default comes up first ………. I no longer see Relevant , New ,All Comments any more , at all to click on . . So I cannot read but the comments under Relevant. . Just disappeared ,,, How do I get this back ? Can you help with this , no one seems to know .

It sounds like Facebook’s layout might have changed or be different for your account. Try going to your Facebook profile, clicking on 'Activity Log,' and then selecting 'Comments' from the options. This should show all your comments. If it’s still not working, let me know.
Does anyone know why i cant see any of my comments on my activity log anymore? i can see only my reactions the comment activity log is empty

It’s true that Facebook may not always take you directly to the comment on a video. You might need to manually navigate to the video to find and reply to your comment. 😊
