I loved that mirror symphony smashing scene, and as soon as you said you were removing all the drywall to install something “special” I instantly said: “she’s doing shiplap!” I love the way the bathroom has turned out, it is beautiful and timeless. I also adore those little pleated lamp shades on the sconces above the vanity.

Yes, most interior wall are brick or stone, unless it is a stud wall that has been added since. In these cases we can’t move walls around as they are foundational :(

Beautiful bathroom! I have made a similar mistake in making my own window treatments. You could cut off the bottom of the shade and add a nice thick contrasting trim in another color from the room to make up the extra length! It will look just like you meant to do that way all along lol

I absolutely diiiiieeeeddd over that vanity. Especially once you put the top on. 😍😍😍 I’ve wanted to find a piece vary similar and do a soapstone countertop for years. I’ll also add that I think you’re backup for the shower walls ended up being a blessing! We have smaller tiles in our shower and it’s a pain! The less grout in the shower the better. Especially when you have rusty water like we do. We could never go with that beautiful of a light bathroom. So I’m a tad jealous seeing how beautiful yours is. 😂😂😂 Our tile is brown, yellow tan, and orangish tan. But the rusty water makes it straight up orange. 😩
I groaned out loud when I saw the Schluter board in the shower.. we’re so close to being done our bathroom and all we have left this weekend is to do the tile in our shower! Pray for us that we can get it done before we have our baby girl on Tuesday. Thankful for the thanksgiving long weekend for the extra day to get it done 😂😅🙈🤍
