    Paul, watching you work is a wonderful educational experience, but the tone of your voice, the background music, chirping birds…., it’s like being in a “painting spa.” Truly an immersive experience watching you.     Gorgeous! The last minute addition of the trees to the right was a great idea, as it stopped the viewer's eyes from wandering off the page. Thank you for sharing.

    Stunning painting, as always! I definitely think adding that tree in the back corner was the right call, it just made it feel so much more balanced and it makes you want to continue on the path to see what's going to be next

    Paul, thank you such a lovely painting and I agree adding the trees in the fence. It was amazing and when you put the shadow on the water underneath the bridge it just illuminated thank you.     So much to love about this video. Not only the painting of a beautiful scene, including the addition of the trees toward the end, but also your great instruction especially on shadows. The highlight for me was the shadow of the big tree. Outstanding.

    Oh the lovely bridge!! As for those extra trees at the end, yes 😁they were necessary & maybe the fence. But I think that I will have to give them a go towards the start of the painting before doing the green background grasses because I will mess it up trying to add them in the end. Always a great time with watching your videos. Thanks for sharing this with us!

    Thank you for another beautiful painting! Again, I watched this with my hospital bound mother, who is just itching to get back to painting and really wants to give this one a try herself when home again. You inspire her!
    The trees on the right and the not too obvious fence👍both added a nice completion and balance. A Lovely, calm scene. Thank you for aiding my mother's return to health these last couple of weeks!!👍😁

    As we had a Memorial Day holiday in the USA on Monday, my days are now mixed up. I finally realized it was Watercolor Wednesday with Paul! (In my mind, today was Tuesday).
    I’m definitely going to “give this one a go”. I love seeing the videos of your workshops and taking a tour with y’all.

    You did the right thing by putting in the trees in the upper right corner, it looked kinda bear. I'm almost always amazed you starting so loose and tightening it up to look excellent

    Paul it always amazes me how your paintings usually go through a rough stage and look wonderful when they are finished. I started painting last year at 79 years old but found it so difficult. one thing that you do that makes it much easier for people like me is the line drawing that you give us.
    I have realised from your paintings that we have to keep going and it may in my case look reasonable for a beginner. So my thanks to you. please keep them coming.
