One of the best producers/Teachers 🔥
Good one CJ .
Hey man really cool video learnt a lot gonna make some custom jungle breaks now!! Just one tip, i think the peak setting on abletons comp will work way better with levelling transients
great tips all round that filtered sidechain is gonna save me ao much time, the effort you put into these videos and your music really shows in the quality, keep up the great work
Happy to help! ✊🏾
Very solid information!
the cheff right here!
you already know! 💪🏾
Good stuff!!
👏👏 thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Good stuff. One question I had was about the sidechain compression. The compressor has a built in filter for the sidechain signal so it seems like you don't need to create a new track for the kick?
You're right, I could've used the built in filter but I know not all compressors have that feature. So I did the extra work for those that use compressors without built in filters. Nice catch!
hey great video always. Have you thought about providing this as an Ableton template?
I don’t know why I didn’t think of that sooner, that’s a good idea!
Another great video! Can I suggest a video? It's something I have some difficulty with, which is about instrumentation. Instrumentation because when I'm making a beat, I get to a point where I don't know what elements to add, I make some drums, bass, chords and melody or a sample but sometimes it seems like something is missing and I don't know exactly what it is, the beat it doesn't sound full. What is your view on this subject?
Agreed
This sounds like a good idea!
