Social justice means fair and equal treatment for everyone. This includes equal access to opportunities, human rights and the benefits of growth regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability or socio-economic position.
An agenda for social justice aims to eliminate discrimination and inequalities. It promotes the dignity of all people. In the world of work that means decent jobs, fair wages, labour rights, dialogue, as well as equality, and social protection for all.
