One of my personal favorite 'must take to the desert island' performances, have had this one close to my heart for what seems countless decades. Thank you for the love it took to set this one to copy.
@@fayzedk Can you see that link? The whole album is on youtube. I bought it on CD years ago. It's seriously one of my favorites. I love how you can hear silverware and glasses clinking in the background as people are eating and drinking. A snapshot of days gone by, but on a good stereo system it makes you feel like you are there.
@@fayzedk Google 'paul desmond quartet live'. That's the name of the album. Recorded in 1975 at Bourbon Street, Toronto, Canada. Surely you can buy it online, or find an alternate upload on youtube that's available. What country are you in?
@@danielgersax hmm it seems you're right about that, just did an own quick research, but it's not anymore on RUclips. It's definitely from live at Bourbon in Toronto, you can see it's actually claimed by the label as such in this video description on the bottom
Ow, thanks for the heads up on that Mario! I'll correct that. For some reason I got it from a source that said Edmonton festival, but I clearly didnt double check. Thanks!
Hi Brian, it is part of a recent released Paul Desmond Transcription book, which you can find here edge-effect.media/desmond-book.html It includes all transpositions (Eb, Bb and C) and 14 solo transcriptions and among them also this one on "Wendy". You could also become a patron on Patreon, where we keep the sheets + transposition for those that support this channel here www.patreon.com/sharpeleventranscriptions If you would decide on Patreon, there is a tier for less then a coffee, where you get 2 transcriptions a month, and where ceartainly can request other transcriptions we did before. All the best, Jorre
@@bryantan8876 Hi Bryan, it's ,ot online anymore due to licensing/legal issues... But, we will have it soon up for sale on the musicnotes.com website (all the Desmond solo's). We'll shortly communicate that through our RUclips feed and instagram if you want to get notified when that happens
