1023 is Oct 23- the daughter’s birthday And you are actually that security guard who “left”. You’re Keigo :) In the story you’re basically reliving a nightmare that you can’t escape. That’s why it’s surreal and “repeating”- there are hints of this such as the guy saying “why are you always here”..; the person in the bathroom on multiple floors; and the first woman who goes down the stairs even though they’re out of order… as well as the people who recognize you even though you’re supposed to be “new”. A woman who worked in the company, a hard worker, was being abused by the organization, known in Japan as a Black Company. She would also stay late, even past midnight, to be with Keigo (you) in the night shift because she loved you so much- and would still take abuse at the company just to be with you. However, one of her bullies took you away from her, maliciously. The woman, depressed and at bottom of her despair, took her own life in the building. I guess the company took it due to stress so then created a policy not to work past midnight, but of course the reality is different. Through this simulation, she reminds Keigo exactly what happened, how she felt, and experiences deep hatred towards him. The vibrating Japanese writings on the wall on the “11th floor” are phrases such as “go to hell”, “you’ll pay”, “I hate you” etc. The salvation of course is the daughter’s birthday, which is with a woman not from work.. but Keigo, as you see with either ending, will always be haunted by his past. Keep in mind that the person who is in the bathrooms night after night is in the women’s bathroom.. I still don’t know if it’s the female victim or the bully lady. I’m guessing victim? Just not sure what she means by “they died”.. unless she killed both Keigo and the bully he was involved with.. and then offed herself? I don’t know 😝 Symbolically, “no abnormality” is just when security tap their phone or badge to censors.. but in this case, there’s an obvious, continuous denial by the guard of not only the abnormality of that work environment but also of the nefarious things he is/was involved in. Meaning, there’s nothing normal about a woman who desperately loves you and is obsessed with you, and is showing you, floor by floor, how much utter pain she’s in.. and you still check off the box “no, everything is normal”- in other words, a denial of her feelings & the pain caused to her. This probably makes her absolutely livid. Just some conjecture.

Marz did explained it in the video where She quit Final Fantasy 16 because the game got to cinematic in a way where she didn’t feel interested to continue. I understood what she meant after watching her streams talk about final fantasy 16 or what’s going on in her life. In that matter of a case, let’s accept that she experienced and enjoyed it while it lasted and know this game holds a special place in her heart.

@@leikie8really? That's weird, she's played lots of games which include lots of cutscenes. Hmm, reckon it might be the sweating or probably not generating enough traffic for her. A shame as I think the game is fantastic and JRPGs tend to have a lot of cutscenes anyway.

I'm pretending to still be asleep while she just gazed at me... sorry, for oversharing...was just flooded by that flashback... :'(
You saw the code at the start of the game when you check the calendar, 10/23 the daughter's birthday but maybe you didn't realized that because you were distracted or I don't know, because at the start you missed that the cake had a 7 on it. The clearly hint to guess that was the drawn, because was the same he had in the fridge. Still funny that in every chat there is always someone that thinks he know everything about something, like when you asked the code at the end, people saying 0309, 369, hahaha. The funny part is that some of those aren't even trolling, they think they know and start to say nonsense. To me this was a good game but kind of messy, like the videotapes, they almost made no sense, most of the time they are just showing you a wall or giving you minimal clues about the story, to me looks like a wasted oportunity and they could have made a better use of them.

i would love to see how marz would react to the narrative proposed by the game SOMA i could no bare the graphics and gameplay for the greater good which is the phenomenal story, but would like for marz to endure it for me so i don´t have to, and still be able to enjoy de story hahhahahahahaha
