The beautiful thing about this podcast, is that you will have anyone on and you will show genuine interest in every guest. This podcast is leaps and bounds above others and I think True Geordie could learn a few things and go back to his roots. Not every podcast has to be a deep meaningful conversation, that will change the world, some times just a chat is all that’s needed.
Totally agree with what you've said about True Geordie. Loved his early stuff so much, but then it seems that it went to his head and spiralled into being a very mediocre podcast. Trying too hard at times to be meaningful and current. Instead he needs to relax and strip it back.
@@georgewhite5612 Yeah mate, needs to just enjoy the process rather than trying to make everything the best it can possibly be. Like the Nick Yarris podcast stuck with me forever, low budget but genuine empathetic conversation going on. Not every podcast needs to have the works biggest star on it, but hey he’s probably got a lot going on in his head and is just doing what he can for now 🤙🏻

I dont even think that's TGs issue. A lot of my favourite OG pods were deep and meaningful convos. But they were with people who weren't established internet stars so the stories were more honest and interesting. Steve Bartlett, Shaun Attwood, Nick Yarris etc. Now Brian just throws on a big name and hope it catches views
@@africancoast true. Sometimes it's nice to have an unknown guest. Think my favourite podcast of his was when he spoke about his deep sea drilling and how he got into it etc.
I can confirm the hash browns from Nibble are the very best you will ever taste. Everything they have on the menu is delicious.
Staff member told me that since Danny visited they have noticed an increased footfall.
I live in Hull and can confirm Nibble is next level. Not your typical takeaway, more a “brunch” spot but it’s high quality and would recommend.
He’s definitely a living legend and locals admire him!

Been saying to everyone I know that nibble is amazing. His video on it was fantastic and did it justice. Glad it’s getting the credit it deserves. The Staff are fantastic and welcoming and the food is to die for.

@@ethanmears1102 they’ve moved to near Hyde park now under the name pizza land, 61 brudenell grove. Limited menu of just burgers atm but full menu back soon. Incredible scran

I went to Nibble today on the back of Dannys recommendation on his channel and it is truly superb. The hash browns are something else as was the Dockside Burger he showed. Had to bring half of it home it was that big. The staff are the superb too.
Went to Nibble last week, the grill was broken so limited menu, but still what we had was quality. Cheers Danny!
i can 100% agree with nibble, its honestly the best place in hull, and the staff are so kind. Plus the food is top tier, i recommend anyone in hull to try it out.

I went to Uni in Hull. Chip spice is a massive thing. Falcons Kebabs on Bev Road was a mecca for it.
Nibble is actually amazing, great to hear it get this type of exposure! Great for nibble, great for Hull!

One thing I miss about uni in Hull is chip spice, especially when u order chicken and they just pepper the lot in chip spice
I only discovered 'Rate my Takeaway' yesterday, I'm probably about ten videos in now and I cant get enough of Danny. I watched one last night and counted how many people recognised him and stopped for a chat, or beeped their horns and shouted from their cars.. in the space of 30 minutes of him sitting on the pavement I saw this happen 48 times, people just love him, and its easy to see why.
Have been to Nibble in Hull after seeing Danny’s review and he is utterly spot on. Stunning and the hash browns are wicked!

He talks about food so amazingly
Trinity market, dope burger and their restaurants and nibble are top tier, hull definitely has an insane street food scene, hull city football club also got rated the best food in the uk as well

I remember during the lock down he visited a pizza place, I cannot remember where it was, I do remember he was sat in a carpark with his table & chair. The young lass serving him couldn't have been any more delightful. He took passing fans on after finishing his vlog... He even had a pud.

If you're in the North West (Bolton / Blackburn area), chip spice is called Red Salt (it is glorious), not sure what it's called in other parts of the UK, it seems to have regional names.
Red salt on chips ALWAYS.

I’ve been watching Danny for quite awhile excellent video
When Nibble won, I cheered! I used to work next to it and I'd eat there most days. I've eaten my way through their entire menu. The best scotch egg, the greatest hashbrowns, a cracking grilled cheese, and don't get me started on the breakfast burgers! First stop when I go back to Hull for sure!

Aye im from there, but i was a soldiernive been everywhere, canada, iraq, kuwait, germany, poland, netherlands, greenland, uk up and down and more smaller places mixed inbetween.

I agree with Nibble being #1 as soon as Danny opened the boxes I was blown away! I don't know if he had been to Grandma's Kitchen prior to/after this podcast but that meal was #2 for me. I'd like to see him rate his top 3 F&C shops.

I had a cheeseburger from Chez Joel the other day. And it was one of the nicest burger's I've had in a long time. So much better than a five guys or McDonalds..

Grew up in Hull, long before Nibble existed. However i was back in Hulll for a flying visit three months back, but the place was closed due the current scamdemic sadly. He right on the water...it does taste like water. Never had better wherever I've lived in the country.
