4 law enforcement officers killed in east Charlotte shooting

- Three law enforcement officers serving on a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force were killed Monday after being met with “active gunfire” from a suspect inside an east Charlotte home. A total of eight law enforcement officers were shot, including four Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers who were injured. At least one of those CMPD officers is listed in critical condition.
The officers were serving together on a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force when they were shot while confronting a suspect inside a home on Galway Drive. The officers were rushed to the hospital but died as a result of their injuries.
The shooting suspect also died Monday. Two others found inside the home are being questioned by police.
Officials have not released the names of those involved.

Does not stop everything. Also once you hit the panels and plates enough times they will not stop rounds as effieciently or at all.
That or you can get hit in the head and typically it only takes 1 shot to the head unless u get hit in the jaw

To get killed for serving a warrant on someone that is breaking the law. These families without their Fathers ,Husbands,Sons just awful.They won't have too worry about one suspect. Sorry for the Officers and their families.

This is what happens when local authorities use a gestapo like organization i.e. the US Marshall Service to assist them in enforcing local laws. The Feds routinely resort to military tactics which almost always leads to needless death and destruction.

I would think that if a warrant was being executed that the police would know the name of the person the warrant was being executed on. 99% chance that's the suspect, so they know his/her identity. Let us know.
