  • i love hamburgers and today I take some great Brisket trim and make some homemade burgers smoked in the smoker... I haven't done this before in the beast and have been wanting to for some time now and boy I am glad I did... Smoking your hamburgers is awesome and works super well.... I will be doing this many many more times in the future.. I love that smoky taste you get and just keep it simple with great ingredients.. go and try this people... you will love it...

    This is the way my father has done it for ages he also smokes some sweet onions to go on the burger it's beautiful! great video !

    couple questions, why the concern over the temperature with meat you ground yourself? and you didnt mention the grill temp but why no sear for the maillard reaction?

      @SlapperGlutesTwice hi... I could have cooked these to a medium, but I just like cooking ground products to a fully cooked temp... for me it's a food safety thing and rather be safe than sorry..... I didn't bother grilling them since this was my first time trying burgers in my new smoker so I just wanted to try them as they were ... I will experiment with that in the future for sure.... as for the temp, sorry I should have mentioned that.. smoker was running at like 225-230 F....
