Thx for the amazing video. I noticed that standard improved aiming is better than v.stab in 60tp and 50tp. However, I am not sure that bounty aiming is better than bond v.stab. And not sure which is better for leopard 1 and 121b.
@@MaxGamingFPSyes there’s definately a few other mentors out there.. but none are as thorough as you. Whilst guys like Kajzoo and SkillLtu are real entertaining to watch with “ooohhwing” and “wowing” us with thier insane (unicum) game plays but your videos are far more solid and educational. Love your demeanour in the videos too. By the way, you mention in this video that tanks like Leopard and super conquer do not require V-stab… does obj277? Currently it’s my main/fave tank to use. I’m using: between Vents, Rammer & V-stab Or HP, Rammer and vents. Just wondering which be more useful on 277, vents or v-stab? (Can’t remember which video where you were explaining the Dispersion)
Max, the content idea is great, but if you are aiming at the newish/casual players, then maybe don't have all setups based on premium equipment and Food. With Food, vents can be dropped for turbo, and bond vents + Food can sometimes allow for setups to skip Vstab, etc. How about a basic setup for regular players without bond equipment, food and 5 skill crews, and maybe an advanced setup for long-time players who actually have access to special/premium equipment and can afford Food on all tanks.
All of these setups would work, even with standard equipment. Yes, I use food and have crew skills. It's going to make a difference but even then I would still recommend the same equipment, especially for Heavy Tanks. You could swap, Vents for optics on mediums if you want more view range / are not using food etc.
Been playing for two years 9000 battles. I still learn a great deal from everyone of your videos I watch. Btw thanks to you and your community for the advice on the progetto 46 field mods you gave me on your discord yesterday. 👍👊
I am glad I watched this. I was not aware that bounty and bond equipment don't get an extra bonus when putting them in a slot that gives extra bonus to standard equipment. That one piece of information is very valuable. As for Improved Hardening, I prefer to use Mod Config until repairs skill is trained. As for Vert stabs on HTs, I tend use Vents until I have trained up my crew with 2 or 3 sets of skills
I pretty sure that CVS reduces bushes camo value not the tank sitting in it. Full bush would have 40% camo instead of 50% cuz it got reduced by 20%. How ever, consider most LTs would have 40% camo, sitting in a bush which provided 40% camo still capped out at 80% camo rate. In short, CVS doesn't break the game if your view range isn't great but it helps a lot to spot if LT in the opposite bush trying to adjust his tank he'll get lit.
Good video with some high quality insights on the current meta/mainstream choices and advices. But two cons: 1. I know you said "for general usage" but if you make a tutorial for equipment pls include all of them and not just 1st pics - playstyles do and should vary. Some equipments are not as straight foreward, some even influence eachother (multiplicative f.e. irm and vstab). 2. Taking the second boost slot as granted might work for your favorite tanks but for majority of the tanks we play and specially new players cant resort to that but all in all would say those 55 minutes were worth the vid, gj and keep up the good work
1. Eventually I will go through all the equipment in the game but that would take almost double the time to record let alone to edit. (I will make one like I did for the crew). 2. Yes, the second slot is only available when you have the field mods and not everyone is going to have them. However, I would still recommend that you use the same equipment. Even if it does not have the boost it's still going to benefit you. Thanks for watching :)
I use CVS on a lot of my mediums like the CS-63, K91, Barrosque, etc. . I'm generally doing the most spotting on my team as the lights always seem to get themselves killed pretty quick, especially the wheely ones. . I managed to 3 mark the K91 through assistance damage more than actual damage. . I think its a really underrated tank.
Thanks for taking the time to make this guide, must admit I hate RNG so much I take improved aiming on anything that isn't a light, then vents to further reduce the aim circle. . 3rd slot for me is vert stab on things with really bad dispersion or turbo on things that are painfully slow to play, Turtle, E3, T95 etc. Open topped TDs I take improved rotation to reduce aim bloom.. rammer isnt that import for me as I would rather fire a tiny bit slower but hit more, a lot of the time im loaded but waiting for shots or to aim so that doesn't matter either, My luck is just so bad that the shots always go to the edge of the aiming circle so the only chance I have to hit anything is to get the circle small enough to fit the entire enemy tank in it 🤣, Im still managing to 3 mark a lot of the tanks in the game so there must be some sense there. . Even super accurate tanks like the Grille 15 can't hit anything consistently for me.
3:13 Scouting and Survivability for SPGs is a sad choice... Mobility would make more sense since "propelled". 6:35 I would appreciate Bond Vent + Bond Optics as a bundle. 14:22 I will go with unpopular opinion. Rammer might not help you as much as you might think. How often do you fire immediately after your gun reloads? If your gun is loaded after 10.3s instead of 11.6s but you wait for another 3 seconds (for example for the enemy to peek), then the Rammer did nothing. On the other hand, when you can use your DPM/hold the mouse button Rammer can be the difference between killing and getting killed (or get someone from your team getting the kill). Just something to think about. 14:40 What would qualify as "good stabilization" in your opinion? 25:05 If you cannot use Vent, GLD is an option. You didn't mention Optics for MTs/TDs (or possibly even HTs). I assume that's because with BIA and Food (and skills) you can get max view range. New players (and F2P players) might not have that option, what is your take on maxing view range on other vehicle types?
Rammer is 100% a must have. 90% of the time it's the difference between you killing and tank and you dying to that tank. Good stabilisation is anything around the super conqueror stats. GLD does not replace Vents. You can use optics on meds to replace vents if you would like.
@@MaxGamingFPS What would you suggest instead of GLD when you cannot use Vent? IIRC you cannot use Improved Aiming or VStab on SPGs, Camo Net/Exhaust won't do anything for you most of the time (and by the time you are in view range you are dead anyway), same applies for Optics/Bino. Turbo could help you relocate faster, I suppose...
for consumables I sometimes use removed speed govs. on Russian tanks. As long as you dont have them on all the time the engine rarely breaks. very helpful to get you into a position a bit faster.
It's the same principle as taking vert stab over gun laying drive, if the aiming circle is smaller to start with then it fully aims faster even after taking into account the slower aim time, Improved aiming makes the circle smaller so you are fully aiming quicker and even being more accurate, it's better on any tank that has less than 2 on the hidden gun dispersion while moving the turret stats, some have low turret disperse but high track traverse, the general rule is a combined moving of hull and turret being less than 3.4 you are better using improved aiming, otherwise go for vert stab.
No, it's not better than bounty of bond. Unless the tank suffers from module damage. Then you switch it out for T3 Exp Hardening. Technically it's not as simple as that, but without doing a long-winded explanation that will do.
Yoyo, what does the last part of the HP boost mean? "-65% to hull damage caused by suspension damage during impact" i dont have any clue what would it mean? anyone knows?
I'm using Improved configuration in quite a few heavy tanks, my 279e just feels like it wants to explode at every chance, my old British FV215b just likes to catch on fire if anything even looks at it, same with my panzer VII, 705a. . For those heavies I drop the rammer as I often find I am trading so can just pop out a second later, or I'm waiting for targets to appear. . Then its Improved Hardening and stab on the ruskies or vents on the british . Everyone seems obsessed with rammer but I'm more concerned with hitting more shots and staying alive longer, I went with this change after my 279e exploded for the 5th or 6th time while I was trying to 3 mark it, so gutting when you drop a couple of percentage after one lucky shot, having 0 damage games with that is just embarrassing 🤣
what would be ur recommendation on kran? like rn im thinking abt vent, turbo and a v-stab,my playstyle mostly well prefer being mobile while still being able to do damage decently
Spall liner does nothing, spent hours in the training room firing HE at various tanks with or without spall liners, with non penatrating hits we found out it actually does more damage with a spall liner equipped rather than doing 50% less or whatever it was supposed to do, we found a tank taking 100 HE damage with the spall liner should have been taking only 50 HE damage with the 50% less damage taken was actually taking around 110 HP on average, its a bugged piece of equipment, no idea why WG haven't fixed it yet, it's been like this since the big HE nerf.
vents are quite useless actually...there are 5 other pieces of equipment that give you a much higher advantage than the miniscule un-noticeable boosts vents give you...turbo over vents in any choice situation...in a game meta that is based on mobility, durability and firepower, being 4kmh faster even if you are already fast, is wayyyyy more important than the miniscule stat boosts you get from vents...and like you said, they are soooo small you won't even notice them...low exhaust 1000% over vents on a light.
NGL I hardly use Rammer for any of my tanks cause unless it saves you more than 2secs of reloads over Vents then I will use it especially if it has shitty gun handling.

Recently returning to the game after 5 years , this is a very good video thanks. Honestly was surprised gold rounds arnt gold only anymore.
5 years ago, gold ammo definitely was not sold for gold. You’d have to go back to like 2012 or something.

Thanks. I find videos like this to be very useful.
Thank you this video was very helpful.
I'm still sad how the ultimate STRV 103 siege mode setup, turbo, camo net and binoculars can only get one boosted equipment at most.
Excellent information, thanks for sharing.
Fast unamoured mediums like the leo pta and 1 with a CVS is another option to consider.

the rest is about game style ^^
