Good day fellas, just a quick note! CVS (Commander's Vision System) is an awesome piece of equipment, especially for light tanks, and it's a must if you want to spot effectively. It's also useful for some mediums like Bourrasque. As for the Improved Radio Set, it's kind of useless in most situations. So definitely prioritize CVS if you’re aiming to scout. Cheers!
Skill like you I love light tanks, thou am not nearly as good as you. I have 30K games in lights and since they added CVS I run two set ups on most ever light tank. VISION - Vents, Optics & CVS and STEALTH - Vents, Optics & Muffler
thank you Skill, only thing i might add, for newbies: only standard equipment benefits from "bonus slot" like mobility for medium tank or durability for HT. bounty, bond & experimental do not receive that extra bonus, so plan accordingly ;)
FCS is useless as a replacement for VStab, however it can be used together with VStab for good results on some tanks that have very bad gun handling, thus the key perk of FCS is that it does not block you from using vstab on top of it. Camo net can be useful on tank destroyers as it adds +15% to stationary camo.
When I played with VK 100.01 P, I actualy had one setup with Spall Liner, Hardening and Modified config. It was slow as hell, reloading for 3 days, but oh lord, it was unstoppable :D
That is so awkward, I've been playing WOT since 2011, and have apparently read "improved rotation device" hastily and missed that it's also about hull traverse - and always believed that. it's just turret and dispersion. But this clarification made me realize it is much more valuable. Thanks, mighty Skill! Happy I got you as commander.
I also understood the same goes for improved aiming unit. Because the bloom is calculated from the base dispersion value and since AUI improves the base dispersions it should result in smaller bloom after firing. At least that's what how it was explained in some youtube video. I didn't check the math myself.
Honestly i see vert stabs and other equipment that improve accuracy as an investment that not only boosts your performance but also helps you save credits long term because you are hitting more shots and you don't have to fire as many

I feel like camo net and bino's are still used way too much because its a holdover from when they were the only pieces of equipment that could be de-mounted without spending gold. bino's especially remained popular because bad players will stay stationary and get the most use out of them.

Also I think he doesn't take into account the new skills, which changed a lot, for exaple: binoculars take 5 seconds to work, but on a sniping TD you can get a skill bonus to aming if you stand still for 3,5 seconds, plus it helps you spot for others, which in turn can activate that skill that gives you 2,5% to crew abilities.

Instead half of this video is just talking how bounty equipment is better than standard. 1. Missed CVS and Radio 2. Didn't mention how different slots of Eq can boost their efficiency 3. Totally skipping Field modifications, which also hugely affect Eq 4. Totally skipping Directives 5. Didn't mention the cost of demounting different types of Eq, and is it worth it 6. Skipping the subject of how some vehicles are limited to the Eq they can use (Autoloaders can't use Gun Rammers, Tanks with open structure can't use Vents etc.) 7. Camo net gives you 15% camouflage boost on LTs and TDs (the classes it was mainly made for), 5% is only for heavies, which you would never use it on 8. Some history would be nice - how did Eq evolve over time, how Camo net and Binoculars used to be the only Eq possible to be demounted for free, how most of the Eq we have today wasn't available long time ago, etc.

worth mentioning demounting costs?
Professor Skill, does RNG make all this equipment irrelevant ?🤚🎤
so the WOT plus equipment recommendations are a scam. most probably the setup for T28 HTC is from before equipment rework when repair toolbox, camo net and bino could be demountable for free. Some people might have forgotten about it and left it as it is.
As always... short, and on subject...
17:16 "... and last but not least..." continues talking about the least useful euipment xD
🤡
"en-hanced"
Let me guess: You haven't been watching Skill that long, have you? 😁
@@2ndfloorsongs sorry force of habit. My wife is Slovak and she says she likes to be corrected as otherwise she will not learn the correct pronunciation.
Honestly disappointed with this video - how can you call it the "Ultimate Equipment Guide" while skipping so much information? Instead half of this video is just talking how bounty equipment is better than standard.
1. Missed CVS and Radio
2. Didn't mention how different slots of Eq can boost their efficiency
3. Totally skipping Field modifications, which also hugely affect Eq
4. Totally skipping Directives
5. Didn't mention the cost of demounting different types of Eq, and is it worth it
6. Skipping the subject of how some vehicles are limited to the Eq they can use (Autoloaders can't use Gun Rammers, Tanks with open structure can't use Vents etc.)
7. Camo net gives you 15% camouflage boost on LTs and TDs (the classes it was mainly made for), 5% is only for heavies, which you would never use it on
8. Some history would be nice - how did Eq evolve over time, how Camo net and Binoculars used to be the only Eq possible to be demounted for free, how most of the Eq we have today wasn't available long time ago, etc.
😀✌🏻👍🏻
Very poorly explained video. Waited for experimental setup recommendation till the end, and he just glossed over it.
Most USELESS video I've ever seen about equipment in WoT in all my 14 wasted years in this game.
Useless... nothing about how to choose according role of tank, its initial charateristics and so on.
