Honestly I don’t know maybe the one where she burns her tongue with the torch lighter…orrrr the beginning when Jennifer picks her friend up from her house because the dialogue is so extra campy and off the rails but yet the actors 1000% commit and sell it. Or the scene where the football player is in the field and Jennifer walks up to metal music and seduces him.
Nope. No vamps. It’s a Demon. She doesn’t only eat blood but also the internal organs. I LOVE the writing. When Jennifer starts floating after biting Chip, he says she can fly! And Needy said, “Oh, she’s just hovering. It’s not that impressive.” 🤣🤣🤣
Eddie Tucker I saw a microbudget horror movie called "This Darkness: The Vampire Virus" where the vampires eat flesh and could only be killed by destroying their brains, apparently the person who wrote it was confused, because they looked and acted like generic vampires, but those are zombie tropes.
I had a friend with a big beard in highschool. He was a year younger than me. We would send him in to talk to the lady. She invited him to a wine tasting HAHAHAH. He had dark circles under his eyes. Long hair and a big beard. It was perfect, never got carded.
I love how that we're forgetting the flashback of Needy sucking Jennifer's Blood because of a cut when they were small, that's how they're connected. I know it was a really small and quick scene but still lol it's not the necklace that affected Jennifer because in spite of her gaslighting and not being the best friend she loves Needy and they are BFFs so Needy ripping the necklace genuinely shocked and hurt Jennifer.
Also I think they showed us them in the sandbox an Needy kissing/ eating Jennifer’s blood is how to explain their connection that’s why she could feel some things, of the BFF necklaces 🤔
Love this movie. It's very much a coming-of-age horror movie and I love the depiction of the toxic girl best friend relationship. I definitely remember friendships that felt similar when I was a tween/teen- you love this girl but you also feel somewhat pitted in competition with her and you two are drifting apart but she's been such a huge part of your life for so long you just can't cut ties completely, even when she acts mean & catty towards you more often than acting like a loving friend nowadays. Yep, I remember those days. As for Low Shoulder's fate, I think a lot of people miss that Jennifer is afraid of Low Shoulder & that's why she doesn't go after them even with all the power she has now. She's a teenage girl who was kidnapped by a group of adult men, dragged out into the woods, assaulted (in a way that wasn't SA but was very metaphorically able to stand in for SA in that scene), and murdered- she's traumatized and even when she's "full" & apparently feels like a god she was still too scared of them to kill them herself. Very glad Needy avenged her friend eventually.
When she got the knife out of the water next to the ping pong ball, it was the same knife the band used on Jenifer, they threw it in the whirlpool to get rid of the evidence, but it comes out in a stream were she found it, then she used it to kill the band, kinda poetic to me really lol
Handful of fun facts around this movie from the IMDB page: Megan Fox has said this is her favorite movie of her respective filmographies. To prepare for her role as a possessed living-dead teenager, Megan Fox lost around 15 lbs, bringing her weight down to a near-frail 97 lbs, and stayed out of the sun for four months to keep her skin pale. The "waterfall that goes nowhere" is the Devil's Kettle, at Judge Magney State Park in Minnesota. The water disappears into a glacial pothole. Jennifer and Needy had more blatant sexual tension in the original script, as a reflection of teenage curiosity and experimentation with the same sex. They were even originally going to have a sex scene in the film. Both Amanda Seyfried and Megan Fox enjoyed the kissing/flirting scenes that went on between them. While both of them understood that they were only acting a role, both women remarked that there was a legitimate physical attraction that they felt for each other. Low Shoulder was the fictional name given to the band in the movie. In real life, the band was known as No Country. They were called No Country from 2009 until 2014 when they changed their name to Wildling. Before No Country, the band had been known as Test Your Reflex from 2004 until 2009. Lead singer, Ryan Levine wrote much of the original music heard in the movie. In Diablo Cody's previous film, Juno (2007), fitness personality Tony Little is mentioned. In this film, a clip of Little's show is featured. (So this and Juno are in the same movie universe) Diablo Cody: In the Melody Lane sequence. At first, you just see her holding a drink but later, when Jennifer says she will score some alcohol by "playing Hello Titty with the bartender", the bartender who serves her turns out to be Cody. One of the main objectives of the production was to involve the audience in the uncomfortable atmosphere of Needy's loving feelings for Jennifer, on several occasions the film tries to generate discomfort and tension when Needy realizes in some scenes that his love for Jennifer it is not reciprocal. On the other hand, the production never wanted to make it clear if Jennifer felt a love attraction towards Needy and that it was the public who openly interpreted Jennifer's feelings. The production was inspired by the movie Hostel by Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino. Well, they wanted Jennifer's Body to enter the film genre known as Gorno: which mixes bloody and sexual violence. Eli Roth revived and gave impetus to that genre with the Hostel series in the early 2000s.
Great, now I cant sleep knowing there was a sex scene in the original script 🤧 and also cant blame the actresses for being attracted to each other like come on look at them. Drop dead gorgeous!
Jennifer’s Body was underrated movie. I wish the movie did better at the box office because it was so good. Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried are incredible. Love seeing Roxy on your channel again. I’m glad she did a reaction to this movie. Hope we see a lot more reactions with her.
Definitely a movie that deserves a rewatch. Usually people don't pick up on the allegory to Jennifer being SAed until the second watch. Her trauma immediately after, no one caring about her so she acts all fine, occasionally has breakdowns, tries to reclaim her sexuality due to the trauma, the song triggering her....
The backstory of Jennifer’s Body is very interesting and ironic. Sad that the studio fell into all the stereotypes that Jennifer’s Body was intending to point out.
@@EnchantedTooWell i think it was supposed to be based on S/A that happened to a girl or multiple. i thinks it’s what the directors talked abt having wanting to show what happens to the girl in after math metaphorically etc. but ppl also say it’s abt the murder case or a 15 yr old girl who died similar way as jennifer did in the movie but idk if the directors ever spoke on that being their actual inspo for this movie.
A little fact about this film is that bits of it are based of a true story. There was a band who murdered someone got Satan and there was a bar fire that started eerily similar to the one in the film that took many lives as the exits were not effective enough for the fleeing crowd. Jennifer's Body definitely has its own style but it's a memorable film. One that I've enjoyed a rewatch from time to time.
@@aliengranpa no. The Station Nightclub fire. It killed 100 people and spread in seconds. Someone got the whole event on film. It took seconds to engulf the whole building. No proper exits. Band using pyrotechnics in an old building.
The murder part is based on the murder of Elyse Pahler. 3 boys were obsessed with what they thought was Satanism (what they believed isnt what actual Satanism is) and the band Slayer and like Low Shoulder thought that sacrificing a virgin would get them fame. It gave them infamy instead when another boy went and told the police, thankfully. Pretty sure the movie is based on a few true stories because there's no bar or fire involved in that part of Elyse's murder.
I love how part of the marketing of this movie was just showing how hot Megan fox was and teasing us with the two girls and now fast forward to this movie having actual layers to it 😂 Reboot would be great for today arena of social media

I love the slang that Diablo wrote for the characters.... I remember my friends and I saw this movie in the theater twice because we thought it was so funny! Still one of my all time fave films! So happy to watch your reactions!
I don't think the movie was ever saying Jennifer was unpopular. But more so that she's so insecure that she has to have that popularity oh, and she has to work hard to keep it. Kind of like when you get to the top you got to make sure no one else takes your spot. So that's why needy was able to hit that weak spot and twist. And I'm sure many have mentioned that the reason that they're connected is because when they were younger Needy sucked on Jennifer's blood. And what I know has to be in the comments already. Jennifer wasn't a vampire. She was a succubus, because she had a demon living inside of her.
With all love to all your guests on the channel Greg Rox is my favorite and I’m saying this with all respect possible, I don’t know there’s something about her positive energy that i relate to, hope you have her more frequently on the channel. This was a very refreshing and fun reaction you guys. Much love from Egypt.
Definitely the part where Seth Cohen and friends sang that was definitely a spell they putted on everyone if you noticed because everyone didn't evens notice the fire because there eyes were on the singers.
I think the thing with the swirly thing is that Needy found the knife there that the band used to sacrifice Jennifer. And Needy was going to get revenge on the band with that knife
I love this movie so much never expected to see a huge react channel do this one yaaaaas Fun fact: when Jennifer's body came out nobody liked it, but after the years it became kinda iconic
I remember watching this about twelve years ago, along with a bunch of other horror movies. 2010 and 2011 were sort of my break-in years for the genre.
One of my guilty pleasures, the dialogue is what I like the most 😂 "you got a tampon? Cause you seem to be pluggin" lmao And Through the trees is such a catchy song too!
One possible explanation for the waterfall is that it's analogous to women: that men will see a hole and keep shoving stuff in it without knowing how it works. Another possibility is that whatever you send out into the world will come back to you (for the band it was the knife and their fate).
Devil’s Kettle is based on an actual waterfall in northern Minnesota (where the movie takes place) but isn’t an actual town. And the fact that Chris Pratt is in this and also from northern Minnesota makes it even better😂
This will always be one of my favorite movies what’s crazy is I got it from blockbuster and was riding around with my mom all day and had a portable DVD player so I watched it in the car the first time 😂
omgggg this is one of my favorite movies ever LMAO. I’m 19, I watched this movie when I was like what, 9 or 10 maybe😭😭will always remain as one of my favs. I rewatch it whenever I feel the vibe to.
i think needy was shouting out the real jennifers fear - that she had already peaked in high school and what every popular kid fears the most - being irrelevant. Only she could do that as she was so close to jennifer before she turned she understood her and what would hurt and distract her the most.
@ReelRejects This movie scared the shiz out of me as a kid and I could not sleep for days because of how insane it is 🤦🤦 really weird movie and your reactions Greg are hilarious as always and I still wanna know your reaction to PUSS in Boots the last Wish and for you to make reaction videos to DC's and Warner brothers Smallville series and it's episodes, I would totally watch them and Lex Luthor on that show rocks 😎😎😎😎😎👍👍
And also fun fact bc of the failure of this movie Diablo Cody thought about making jennifer’s body a tv show but they didn’t approved it and just like the movie Buffy the vampire slayer movie was a failure as well but when they made it a series it was a success but I’m so glad this movie is getting the recognition it deserves
Every time you guys asked how they were so connected, i kept yelling "the cut! Remember she drank her blood!" 😂 Was hoping it'd click. Really enjoyed this review though
This is hands down one of my all time favourite movies. It's so funny but the horror element is so different but so good! Just a btw, it was a succubus that possessed Jennifer and Needy at the end. That's why you'd see Jenn seducing the guys before she killed them. If you look closely when she killed the first guy, it's almost as if he was in a trans. That's because of the succubus.
I don't know how it took me so long to realize this but you are totally recreating old school Screen Junkies weekday shows. It's literally how I discovered you in the first place. Just platform fun talent like Roxy or Coy and so many more. You did return the bathroom key, right?
This is brilliant! Every movie you watch I already love and the reactions just make it ten times better! So please please please watch 13 Hours secret soldiers of Bengazhi!
This movie is incredibly underrated, I remember it was trashed by critics when it came out, but now critics look at this movie and see that it is actually very clever. I also remember seeing this in theaters when I was 18 and I’m certain there wasn’t a single man or woman in the theater that wasn’t aroused at the kissing scene between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. 22:09 and yeah everyone was thinking the same thing here. Also PLEASE give us more movie reactions with the Roxstar Roxy Striar.😍😍🙏🙏 And Roxy you and I are the same age and no one had slang like this movie.
Spoiler to those who haven't watched the film yet: I don't know if it was confirmed or not. But I believe they became connected to one another in the flashback from when they were children. Jennifer hurt herself and "Needy" essentially drank some of her blood trying to help her. I have no idea why but it took me watching this movie several times to even realize the significance in that scene. I didn't even notice the scene at all when I first watched the movie 😅
This movie led to one of the best videos I've seen, where they put an animation of Patrick Star over that Bill Fagerbakke door knocker audio. My life is so much richer thanks to that. Also, the soundtrack was amazing. Panic!, Dashboard Confessional, All Time Low, Screeching Weasel, Hayley Williams, talk about an all star line-up.
Omg I love the movie Tamara Jenna Dewan's acting n that movie was Soo iconic and Amazin also that whole movie was an masterpiece it's an shame Soo muny ppl don't know about it

omgggg this is one of my favorite movies ever LMAO. I’m 19, I watched this movie when I was like what, 9 or 10 maybe😭😭will always remain as one of my favs. I rewatch it whenever I feel the vibe to.
Jennifer bit Needy in their fight, that's where she got the ability to levitate. It didn't just come out of nowhere.
i think needy was shouting out the real jennifers fear - that she had already peaked in high school and what every popular kid fears the most - being irrelevant. Only she could do that as she was so close to jennifer before she turned she understood her and what would hurt and distract her the most.
@ReelRejects
This movie scared the shiz out of me as a kid and I could not sleep for days because of how insane it is 🤦🤦 really weird movie and your reactions Greg are hilarious as always and I still wanna know your reaction to PUSS in Boots the last Wish and for you to make reaction videos to DC's and Warner brothers Smallville series and it's episodes, I would totally watch them and Lex Luthor on that show rocks 😎😎😎😎😎👍👍
Mine too it got me haunted by this
I love this movie! And that kiss scene, damn!
I need Greg and Roxy to watch Lisa Frankenstein since it's by the same writer haha a Jennifer's Body daughter in spirit - loved this reaction haha
I totally missed the part where Jennifer bit Needy. I suppose that's how she got her powers in the end
Dude I love Roxy! She cracks me up ,..and that raspy voice ❤️
Unapologetically, one of my favorite films
Home girl said she’s gonna eat her soul and shite it out 😂😂
My first time watching this movie I was 10 and I’ve probably seen at least 20 times such a underrated horror movie still great to this day.
Roxy is one of the few people other than John who can keep up with Greg and throw the barbs back at him...
And why she started looking sick after *not* feeding.
Love this movie. Love your guys' reaction. Hah the dialouge in this film is beyond amazing ❤
i know this is random and love your vids brother, but i was watching you for years before realizing you were in an episode of Its Always Sunny
kudos🤙🏿
the scene of the boys singing over her actually traumatized me
I don't know how it took me so long to realize this but you are totally recreating old school Screen Junkies weekday shows.
This was a gift 🎁 💝. I enjoyed this lol 😂
Amanda Seyfried’s Boyfriend is from Scott Pilgram V the World
Spoiler to those who haven't watched the film yet:
I don't know if it was confirmed or not.
I love watching movies with reel rejects its movie night and the rejects invite you to watch with them.
PLEASE do a watch of Tamara from 2005 next. It's the original Jennifer's Body
Omg I love the movie Tamara Jenna Dewan's acting n that movie was Soo iconic and Amazin also that whole movie was an masterpiece it's an shame Soo muny ppl don't know about it
Yeah this movie was my bisexual awakening… something about Megan Fox in this movie really solidified a lot of things for me lol
