I love their dedication to awesome cinametgraphy in EVERY SINGLE video. While keeping the whole this super educational and being able to perfectly review the car. Keep it up guys you rock!
Throttle House has become my absolute favorite car channel on youtube. That's hugely due in part to the men that run this channel. James and Tom have the perfect chemistry together. Plus, I love the fact that they can strike the perfect balance between passion, professionalism and goofiness in every single one of their videos. The close second favorite has to be donut media but they're a bit too.... noisy for my taste. Anywho.... keep up the good work fellas. Cheers from Pakistan!
this video was so well made it felt like it had the budget of something like a youtube original, but with the independence and creativity classic throttle house. it was fantastic!
I’ve rode in that car. I was selling a Panasonic flip clock (like Marty’s bedroom clock) and the Owner (unbeknownst today me) rolls up to the meet location in the time machine. Such a stand up dude. Ended up giving him the clock for free.
Reasons for 88. The speed had to be fast enough to be dramatic without being extreme. 88 would completely fill an old-style LED display, which helps make it more dramatic. Eighty-eight has a certain alliterative/poetic rhythm to it. The number 8 is the symbol for infinity rotated 90 degrees. Symbolizes you can go anywhere in time.
Ah so jealous that you guys had a chance to drive it, we had a DeLorean at a Calgary Comic-con a few years ago (not sure if its the same car) and that was pretty exciting just to see it.
Fantastic review - great detail into it's build and source of some of the components, plus the factoid about how to clean it! Two of my dream cars happen to be movie cars: 1968 Fastback GT390 in Highland Green - Bullitt '32 Ford Coupe in Yellow - As driven by John Milner in American Graffiti
I remember there being a specific achievement in Forza 4 for xbox 360, that actually kept track on whether or not you could -actually- get the car to 88mph because it was so slow. Still love the car though, nothing beats BTTF!
Great fun video, guys! Looking forward to more in this series. Suggestion: combine a then & now and movie car video by doing a comparison of an original “Bullitt” Mustang fastback and the current Bullitt trim Mustang.
Great video! Loved that it was both informative and entertaining. Herbie, Aston Martin BD5, and if you guys wanna go all in find the Peugeot from Blade Runner, extra points if you make it fly.
It had to travel 88mph because the wormhole that the flux capacitor opened would only be open for just over a tenth of a second. Given the length of the car, it had to be going at least 88mph or it wouldn't make it all the way through the wormhole before it closed.
And, as typical of all DeLoreans, the angle drive for the speedometer is broken, so you don't know how fast you are going. Mine was. An easy fix. Nice review guys.
88 was probably chosen by the filmmakers because it looked good on a digital gauge and it was easy for the audience to remember. As a theatrical matter, it had to be a number near the car's top end because this created tension (will they be able to reach the speed before they run into the building etc.). There is a very popular fan theory that that Doc could only keep a wormhole open for just over a tenth of a second at best, so in order for the car the length of a Delorean to completely pass through the wormhole (before presumably being cut in half), it had to be traveling at least 88 miles per hour; potentially, it couldn't even go TOO fast, because then it might just drive right through while the wormhole was still forming, potentially not time traveling at all. So far as I'm aware, there's reliable evidence for this theory, but it's as good as any if you just want a plausible in-universe explanation.
LOL..... You guys are the best. I don't even like the BTTF series, thought they should have stopped with the really good first one. You guys made hearing about that tired of DMC 12 an fun and engaging time. Cheers, guys. You do great work.
You guys should've featured the builder of the car in the episode to give you a breakdown on details and how everything was actually made. Now that would be really interesting. Sort of like what Jay Leno does with his show
Love that you did back to the future for the first episode of movie car and right before the 35th anniversary of the first back to the future releasing.
I love this channel but I feel like you guys don't do enough Lexus reviews. The rcF the ls500 which could definitely compete against the S class and the 7 series and the g90. Those are amazing cars that i would love to see you guys review!
09:10 Great vid guys. I don’t want to be that guy, but the DeLorean was only ever considered to have an Alfa Romeo V6. John DeLorean went with the PRV as they could provide the volume needed at a price he could work with. Not to save the PRV is a bad engine, just the early fuel injection that needed some work. -VIN4693
When you showed the picture of the yellow DeTomaso I wasn´t trusting my eyes.... I have a picture from the exact same angle which I took in 2007 in Leipzig, haha
FUN FACT: The owner of this car has a 2nd DeLorean that he won in a radio call-in contest.
Bruh
How do you know
Hahaha 😂
*Are you that guy?!*
If this is true...that’s amazing! 😅
“...They were worried that kids would *play* time-machine and get inside refrigerators.”
“That makes sense for America”
Ouch, James
BUT HE’S NOT WRONG
Yeah as an American I can say this is true.
facts
Jame's wit is second to none.
100% what American kids would do 😂
"Can we just pretend for a second that we live in a universe where this is real?" Truer words have never been spoken, Mr. Thomas 💯
So, we just went through quartine not seeing a James house tour........
sad.
Jasper O'Malley We’re not done yet
Just go to your local church.
Thissssssssssssss
I love their dedication to awesome cinametgraphy in EVERY SINGLE video. While keeping the whole this super educational and being able to perfectly review the car. Keep it up guys you rock!
If I was asked to define creativity in one line, I would surely say "The Intros of Throttle House".
Throttle House has become my absolute favorite car channel on youtube. That's hugely due in part to the men that run this channel. James and Tom have the perfect chemistry together. Absolutely well done gentlemen, I watched the entire video with a smile on my face remembering this car from my childhood. Keep up the great content.
this video was so well made it felt like it had the budget of something like a youtube original, but with the independence and creativity classic throttle house. it was fantastic!
Honestly.. this was one of the greatest, most hilarious videos you guys have done. Thanks! Glad your back on the road!
I’ve rode in that car. I was selling a Panasonic flip clock (like Marty’s bedroom clock) and the Owner (unbeknownst today me) rolls up to the meet location in the time machine. Such a stand up dude. Ended up giving him the clock for free.

Wow you guys are pumping out content!!! Super happy rn, especially because of all the news going on...
I know it's a 2000's movie, but "Eleanor" from Gone in 60 Seconds would be my pick for this series.
I second this!
1974
Watching Thomas GEEK OUT on this made my day!!!.....great work fellas 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Production value has consistently risen since this show has started. Keep it up! This has become my favorite auto review show.

Sometimes, these movie car reviews can be super boring, not with you guys. This was awesome and hilarious. Thanks guys!
So much nostalgia in this video. Well done. One of my favourite movie cars from the 80’s. The gauge cluster is very Volvo.
Can we please fast forward towards the time when you have millions of subscribers that you guys deserve.😍
Hilarious intro as always.
If someone is staring at you in the car you can say to them “what are you looking at butt-head?”
Great job guys, I always enjoy watching your channel!💪
Agreed!
Not gonna lie, I am pretty jealous of this video and of the car. I love the Back to the Future Trilogy! Very well done!
Well done guys, great video.
The attention of detail in this car is unbelievable
So happy to see you guys back! Much love from Texas!
I think I'm going to be loving this series! Thanks for doing it!

Imagine KITT car on Throttle House🤔
I'm very very excited to see more of this series episodes 🤩
My favourite car channel.
If I get a notification next week for a batmobile review I’m going to lose it lmao

such amazing production values!
GUYS, Hats Off, Very novel thought to do a Delorean Time Machine Review. You are getting famous in India.....Keep it up. Long Live Doc Brown!!
And, as typical of all DeLoreans, the angle drive for the speedometer is broken, so you don't know how fast you are going. Mine was. An easy fix. Nice review guys.
"That's the power of love!" ;o)
Oooh can't wait to see what comes next in this series!
Love you guys videos
I saw the thum nail and it all made sense. U are genius time travelers. Thats how u know what we want to see.

Let's celebrate independence day while taking a trip through time.🎆
One of the top 3 cars I would have in my dream garage!
Another interesting fact the DMC12 is an Irish native built car, the first ever.
First installment in Throttle House movie car series!
*100k views in a month*
First and last.
Great review and PLEASE continue this series!!
Too funny, because in the last Indiana Jones movie, also with Spielburg involvement, a fridge is used to save Indy. :)
LOL..... You guys are the best.
I don't even like the BTTF series, thought they should have stopped with the really good first one. You guys made hearing about that tired of DMC 12 an fun and engaging time.
Cheers, guys. You do great work.
Always wondered how Doc Brown had a remote control setup for the DeLorean that was a manual gearbox. I guess he taught Einstein how to shift!
“It worked there’s a policeman on a horse in a red coat”. “ nope that’s just Canada”. Absolutely cracked me up. Only in Canada is this normal.
I like a lot this movie car series, it is fun and changes a lot comparing to other test drive channels. Can't wait for KITT...
This channel is delightful!
You guys should've featured the builder of the car in the episode to give you a breakdown on details and how everything was actually made. Now that would be really interesting. Sort of like what Jay Leno does with his show
Happy to see y’all outside again.
There's a guy that drives around in a Batmobile in the GTA, you gotta find him and review that too!
I love the ammount of restraint Thomas has of not geeking out. I would be having a full on nerdgasm lol
Love that you did back to the future for the first episode of movie car and right before the 35th anniversary of the first back to the future releasing.
The coolest ugliest car ever...just so happens to travel in time.
yes, its what the prius wants to be
I don't find it ugly. Nonetheless, IT'S SOOO COOL!!
I love this channel but I feel like you guys don't do enough Lexus reviews. The rcF the ls500 which could definitely compete against the S class and the 7 series and the g90. Those are amazing cars that i would love to see you guys review!
5:50 looks like future Host filming past Host showing how the Time Machine works. The resemblance is uncanny.
09:10 Great vid guys. I don’t want to be that guy, but the DeLorean was only ever considered to have an Alfa Romeo V6. This is great! The videos only get better.
When you showed the picture of the yellow DeTomaso I wasn´t trusting my eyes.... I have a picture from the exact same angle which I took in 2007 in Leipzig, haha
2:36 "yeah its pretty metal" lmao
The music was soooo good 💯💯💯💯
Yeah. Can someone tell me what is the track name?
all you're missing are the AIR MAGS. the shoes might be worth more than most of that car though!
Never would I have thought to hear the Abroad in Japan signature opening theme on a throttle house video
We NEED more movie cars!!!!
Having been up-close-and-personal with one of the actual movie cars a few years ago... yeah... this one looks far better close up...
Man these intros are so awesome
