    Hi Everyone,
    We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small camper under 15' did you like best? Do you prefer a travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing your opinion about these RV floor plans.

    Nope, nope. I'm sitting in my van wondering how I'd like it if I had to go outside every time I wanted to access the sink or fridge after dark. I want my kitchen inside! Interesting to see but I wouldn't want one!

    • @SuperCitizen
      @SuperCitizen 6 месяцев назад +3

      Consider camping in any national Park?? Yeah bubu smelling all your cooking and has a nice light to see everything too. The owner liable to be the appetizer 😂. Also why no bathroom not even a portable potty?? Bob of the design team was asked make these teardrops different his response was let's add more storage 😅

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  6 месяцев назад +4

      That is a great point. The weather and the time of day plays a huge factor with only an outside kitchen. I'm with you Britt! Thanks

      @SuperCitizen especially if you are off-road camping, which these are capable of 🤣. It's difficult to add a bathroom to a camper this size but I would definitely bring my own porta potty.

      There aren't too many campers under 15' that you can stand in. You could check out the 13' Scamp TT. Most campers this size will be a teardrop style or difficult to stand in. I do like the idea but, these campers are confusing in a sense. They’re calling them off-road but they pretty much have to be plugged in to shore power (a/c, electric fireplace, microwave, etc.) or you’re dragging a generator everywhere you go.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  6 месяцев назад +1

      Very true. I think they are able to put them in that category primarily due to the tires and suspension. Very few "mainstream" manufacturers build these campers to be sustainable. Though you might have upgrade options. Many are pre-wired with solar and might even include a 100w or 200w panel but you're still not running your appliances without an inverter. I guess that's why they can get away with off-road and not off-grid..in our opinion. Thanks Salty Dog69!

    It would be nice if reviewers could highlight what features on a trailer can work off-grid and what features require the trailer to be connected to shore power. I was considering a Hike 100 as it is marketed as an "Off Grid" unit. Yes it has a solar panel but that essentially charges the battery for the lights. No inverter and the fridge is 110, the cooker and air conditioner all require 110. i enjoy your channel.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  6 месяцев назад

      I understand your interest and frustration when it comes to solar provided by a manufacturer. If we reviewed one RV per video we could spend much more time providing details like solar. The problem is they all claim to be off-grid or solar pre-wired but very few are truly capable. At best they come with a 100 or 200 watt panel, maybe a lithium battery and no inverter which means your outlets aren't powered by solar and you are not running a microwave, fridge or AC unit. Hopefully in the future we can include more of these details. Thank you for suggesting. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!💚💛

    Overall I liked the Geo Pro best, but I would prefer the R Pod pull-out stove rather than the griddle on the side. The pull-out stove lets you stay under cover when the weather is not ideal. It also does not need to be taken down and stored inside. If you got yourself a big battery bank or a nice quiet generator you could boondock with all the creature comforts.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  6 месяцев назад

    I would like to see a video where the weight capacities are discussed just so that I can understand. I would like to purchase a trailer that I can safely pull with a Subaru Forrester, or a Subaru Forester wilderness. I would like to purchase a camper that comfortably fit three people. I am still searching though. By the way, I really do enjoy your videos. Thank you very much.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  6 месяцев назад

      We have a blog article that discusses and explains all the different RV weights that might help you. You would first need to know what the tow capacity of your vehicle is. That means the maximum amount your Subaru can safely tow. I'll share the link to the article, but let me know what your tow capacity is. Let's see if we can help you find something. I think of the three the "Modern Buggy Little Buggy 10RK" is the best. Because it is what it is a tear drop. The other two seem to be a tear drop that is trying add some of options and space of a traditional trailer.

    Thanks Susan and Mike, another great video. While I wouldn't be interested in having one of these, the Geopro was the most interesting, especially with the convection microwave. Lots of elbow room for the toilets and head height in the showers too. They all should include a popup shower and a 5 gallon bucket toilet. It wouldn't break their bank. Thanks again, stay safe out there.

      Some rustic campgrounds do not allow popup privacy shelters with toilets. Many campers go to campgrounds and just plan to use the bathhouse the campground provides. Adding small stuff people do not want or need is wasteful too. If a camper wants those items they are easy to purchase separately and won't break your bank either. 😉
