Chris, for me this experience for you shows how much respect you have from Gatwick Airport. You have always shown them respect and I too would like to thank everyone who arranged for you to have Air Side Access. Amazing footage or as you love to say, and I agree 100% “Beautiful”. Loved seeing the footage from the Tug. Chris you have built your channel which is Respected by all those who work at Airports and your members. I’m 75 now, loved Aviation since I was 10 but my enthusiasm has got even more stronger since joining your channel. Of course Heathrow, Stansted and London City Airports also respect your channel. Hello Chris. I worked for BAA in Airport Operations from 1969 until August 2000 when I took early retirement. Great days.. Originally based top of the main office building in those 3 large glass windows where it says "Welcome to Gatwick" where we did all the stand allocations. Later on the airfield in the Leader Vehicles runway inspections etc.. Good old days of DanAir and Laker , British Caledonian etc with Comets, B707 , Dc8, VC10 , Bac1-11 and many more.. A lot has changed now at Gatwick but happy memories. Love following your streams mate.. Keep them going 👍

Woww! How gorgeous to see them up so close! Ohmygosh! I wish I could do that at Stansted and see my favourite cargo West Atlantic jet 737-3Y0(SF) up close. I will just have to haunt him otherwise when I pass! 😮😊😂

I've not flown for probably 40yrs but want to see Gatwick as I want to fly to Glasgow. I just need to get my bearings.
I don't appreciate all of what goes on getting a jet airborne, the airport must be truly organisef.

Nice work Chris, a great behind scene's look into ground ops. I did something similar back when I was training to be a travel agent in Brisbane, I spent 2 weeks on ground ops with Qantas at the domestic terminal.
