It seems there's a lot of people who don't like this ship and are actively expressing that here, which is fine - but to call it pedophilia when the traveler's age is NOT confirmed (the drinking argument is nebulous at best and nowhere within the dialogue does anyone explicitly state that the traveler is underage) underage and most likely an immortal/timeless character who has lived for at least centuries seems to be going a bit too far. I'll probably private this video if this is still an issue, however, though my stance on this doesn't change. I personally don't believe the traveler is 14, no matter where that arbitrary number came from. If people can ship xiaoaether with no problems, I wish for people to see chilumi in the same way. I hope people can enjoy my other/future content that hopefully won't spark stuff like this - Thank you for reading through everything.

As soon as I heard this song I looked up all the meaning for the flowers in this song. Now flowers have a lot of meaning, which I found out today, so it's obviously hard to pin down exactly what they're going for. Some of the flower I found didn't even have any symbolism or meaning; that lead to more digging. I also learned that the meaning of the flowers, since flowers can have a lot of different meanings, is up to the person receiving the flowers. So far this is what I have.
Daphne (Unending), Ficus (Understanding), Iris

Forgiveness), Myrica (
Perfection), Sabia
(Captivating), Thymus
(Courage), Ribe (
Passion), Abelia

Some of the meanings were obviously translated from something else. For example Myrica means fragrance; so I looked up what symbolism fragrance could have (persuasion stronger than words, appearances, emotions or will. It can also act as a mask of perfection, like makeup.) So I went and shortened it.
Some have many different meanings and it's cool to play around with them a bit. For example Flos means flower, but can symbolize creating. It can also symbolize the best part of something. So I thought flowers are created and could be the best part of something; and they're all flowers. So I thought that Flos meaning everything for this would be smart.
Like I said before there are many different meanings for flowers and it's up to the person to interpret the meaning. Obviously what I wrote is not exact but just something I thought was cool, if you come up with anything I would be glad to read it!

I can't explain how much I love this video!!! I loved seeing your art when you did Hanako-kun art so I was curious to see how your art style would look doing other characters and I just love how you did the Genshin characters! Your art has very sharp lines and the jaggedness of the lines just adds to the characters expressions. I can't really explain it, but there is something so unique about the way you draw Lumine and Childe compared to others' art where everything is "soft". Everything you drew just maintains your signature look while still being recognizable of the characters, and the sharpness of the folds in the clothes to hair all just mesh well together that I can't stop looping the video and keep watching it over and over again.
This is amazing! I am in total support for Chilumi. The other ships with lumi just don't cut it for me. Xiao is adepti so that's a little wrong, venti and zhongli are archons so that's also not right. Childe is literally the only one fit for Lumine, willing to change, travel, and possibly help her (idk I haven't gotten far enough into the game lol's). And plus, it just seems right to pair them both together.

Ikrrrr 🥺 also people keep saying “lumine is underage and childe is a young adult so that’s illegal” but the ages aren’t confirmed and lumine constantly asks for alcohol so I have a feeling characters are assuming she’s underage due to her young age**. Idk that may be a bit too complicated but either way I don’t think age matters that much anyway. 🥺 as long as there is responsibility.

Watching this... just made me want to pull for Childe rerun banner just to get him to pair up with my Lumine
I still don't get how people saw this as illegal. The traveller didn't say they were underaged and the people of Mondstadt just thought she was underage. If you're gonna say, "But Venti..." its because Venti has been in the city of Mondstadt for quite a while and even disguising as a bard ever since Vanessa was just a mortal so they KNOW Venti is old enough. Additionally, you can see Aether drinking a beer in a mug on Eula's teaser which solidifies him as well as her sister beingold enough to drink. If you want MORE proof then Dain's quest proved that the Traveller remembered something 500 years ago. Like, a LOT of lore indicates that Lumine/Aether are old af but I guess people just want to hate on the ship cause they think short girls are children and underaged.
Chilumi ship was never meant to be predatory. The ship was just a trope for annoying guy x serious/kind girl which is cute. It was never meant as a child x adult or something along the lines of pədò. Most of the fanart/creation revolving around this ship isn't even about how Lumine is being taken advantaged or being manipulated by Childe to do his bidding. Even so, Childe is hecking young af since he is probably around 18-20ish considering his description and how he was just 14 years old when he joined the Fatui. So, haters if you hate the ship just leave cause you either take what characters say who aren't trustworthy at face value or just don't know what you're talking about
A lot of people simply didn't like the ship. But they couldn't just harass the content creators out of nowhere, so they formed rumours and tried to drag real life matters into it in order to guilt trip people from liking the ship.

Given how he has a ton of younger siblings back home and is very protective of them, I feel like he'd definitely skin child predators alive. And the Traveler is literally as old as stars. No one in Teyvat, not even Zhongli would be old enough for them. But I don't see any of the harassers talking about that.

totally unrelated but i've said this in another video but man. i've always believed the travelers to be immortals or gods themselves, (seeing as they tried to leave celestia, where a mortal can ascend to become a god/archon). the traveler in game is going through different nations, meeting new friends it feels a little lonely knowing that the traveler has met these amazing people in teyvat only to leave them after reuniting with their sibling and characters like amber, ayaka, jean, thoma don't even know that they would never see the traveler again only to live on for many years wondering where they are now and how they're doing not knowing they're not coming back-

I'm a multishipper too. What I've learnt from being in this fandom is that the characters aren't involved in whatever their shippers do. I once got harassed by Xiaoven fans and it took me quite awhile to stop looking away from that ship's content, but eventually I told myself that toxic fans will exist everywhere regardless of what you do. There's simply no escaping them and every single character has at least a few toxic fans. Don't let that discourage you from liking a character or a ship. If they're cute, they're cute. And fictional. Just have fun with it.
