- I have been getting many request from you guys that "how can I install Linux OS without a CD/DVD or USB Pendrive. So I have tried so many method on my computer and finally I have got a solution for installing linux with a CD/DVD or USB Drive .So In this video I will going to show you that . So before installing anything on your computer make sure that your computer C Drive have some free space (more than 20 GB ) otherwise you will get some trouble to installing linux on your computer .

Guys you don't need to *select* the *distribution* and the *version.* just *select discimage* and *carry on* the *tutorial* from there.

Yeah just go to some cheap ass little shop and get a USB drive follow the classic instructions using stuff like unitbootin.... there are other software similar to it.
I Don’t do windows I use a USB Image writing utility called I think Etcher.
Just write the iso into the USB and reboot the computer.

The process is indeed legit I just noticed that the version given on the link is for a 64 bit capable pc thankfully i didn't installed it already to my laptop cause this laptop is just a 32 bit instead of installing the Ubuntu file that is given on the video i downloaded a linux mint 32 bit version and thankfully it worked and surprisingly my laptop is now much smoother compared when it is only equipped with windows 7 ultimate thanks man you just made my laptop not boring again 😂
Take note guys if you're installing Ubuntu make sure your pc is 64 bit capable it may not work if its just 32 bit

This is not safe to install two different is in one drive.
You should to Install Ubuntu on another drive like d drive or e drive

In hard drive section you choose c: drive is there is no problem with that and I have othet drive how to choose those drive because the selection of other drive is not shown

I did exactly as you described but it won't work for me. My Laptop says that I'm missing files.. But I loaded the whole iso file from the website. And after starting windows again my laptop is doing things without me using my hands :O

Does this method work for computers/laptops not capable of Vista (or greater)? I'm trying to reuse 1/2 dozen old XP laptops.. RAM is 640 MB - 1.5GB and processors are > 1Ghz, just pre-Celeron so not enough for W7
I've tried the EasyBCD method, but it doesn't support pre Vista capable equipment. Manual edit of Registry doesn't seem like a good plan.
I have not tried on this method on xp laptops but I think it will work and it will work both computers and laptops.

should work, I did it with my old pc with 1 gb ram and 1.6 ghz processor but ill suggest to install linux mint instead of ubuntu. Way clean and runs fast on low end machines
@@animeshsingh4290 Zorin OS is a good low resource distro too. I'm running 32bit one, version 15.1 altho I like 9 and 10 better. Printer setup is easier.

Since it is installed in the C:/ drive (where windows lives), windows will not boot up.

Sorry, but your method didn't work, at least for me.
I did the steps accordingly, however, the install got stuck on the Ubuntu splash screen.
Will try the traditional DVD/USB method.

Yes can ! Ubuntu have that option.. it's called side by aide installation.. but do it at your own risk if anything goes wrong I am not responsible for that.. Because if you have not proper knowledge then do it normally for sfty!
Working well with my PC
I installed Ubuntu and Unetbtin as shown in the instruction, but it failed when I tried to reboot and choose Linux environment instead of Windows 10.
The display said

I want to install Pop OS but i can't find it in the distributions in UNetbootin.
Why does this stupid program insist on installing on C drive, where your Windows OS is? What's the point of that? We should be able to install it wherever we want then we can tell the bios which drive is C drive. In that order. What am I missing here?

I did this last night and I did something wrong because instead of asking me if I wanted to keep or delete Windows, it went right onto the partitions, I did something wrong and it corrupted my windows.
