I agreed with almost EVERY selection, but im putting MK2 at S tier. That's my childhood. A pocket full of quarters in the summertime, going straight to the arcade. I hate Kintaro till this day because of it. 😂😂😂
MKX hands down. When 11 came out it pissed me off due to the fact that a lot of moves were changed for the characters I got used to in MKX. I wanted to love MK11 but I just felt like X was faster and just more fun to play. Also the DLC's in X were all so much fun to play with.
P.S. I had a blast using Triborg
MK 9 and MK X are the cream of the crop of the mk series. Honest those two are the only ones I really like to play

mk1 gameplay is such a step up from 11 its crazy, i think all the quality of life stuff is gonna improve over time

@@Pool_Editz500 for me it loses the spirit cince mk 11, it is not the same franchise. IMO those new games look less violent than previous ones. Gameplay-wise it;s still cool, but they make cash grab, wich is not a good sign.

Man!!! I loved this video! MK11 is my favorite MK. Only because I appreciate the more slowed Chess like strategic gameplay of it. I'm noticing the fighting community is warming up to it after all these years. I wanted to add something! People are complaining about the paid content in MK1. Players complained about it on MK11 about having to grind for all the skins and gear with Towers of Time or other modes (For Free!!!). Players can't be satisfied. I love MK1. Give it a year, and see if it's a different experience. Great vid!!!

Been 7 months since you commented, I'm curious to your opinion of it in it's given state now. I personally love it still but I feel like it hasn't had this many bugs and complaints than when first launched.
@subzeroandscorpion6701 Yes, it's still a solid game. You'll be surprised how fast the community comes back as soon as a dlc drops for it. They know they like the game. Just lack of content for it. I got the Platinum Trophy! So I just look forward to Premium skins mostly now. Thanks for reaching out. Hopefully, we will get a balance change soon.
@redjaguar6883 All I personally want for the game is just one more new mode or more seasonal rewards but so far I love the game. Shame to see people hating it and comparing it always to other games.

MK9 was amazing. I remember playing it in my teenage years a lot with my friends. I also remember playing with classic costumes too. MK4 was great, i used to play it on Arcade i would put that game on A tier.
So if you were in your teens when mk9 how would that make sense that you went to the arcade? That’s 14 year difference even if you were 18 when the game came out, you would’ve been going to the arcade at four or are you just trying to fit in Homie?
@thewicked1862 arcades were running for a long time, and they still are. I'm 29 years old now, and I played MK9 just when my sister graduated from high school, which was 2011, I think. As a child, I remember perfectly well playing MK4 and MK3 in arcades. Sure, the game was released many years before, but they were still popular in the early 2000s.

@@daislandboyz I think I just had more fun on it than any other mk game so far. It had the best kyrpt in the series. As well as the roster I thought it was decent. (second to mk9) I also think the fatalities and brutalities are the best in the series, yes they're a bit over the top but they're supposed to be. The customisation although grindy I did like and would much prefer having to grind a little bit instead of waiting for a skin to drop in a store where I have to spend money.
It sounds like WB and Ed Boon are going to support MK1 for roughly 3-4 years. So I’m hoping for a few Aftermath style DLCs. I do miss the Towers of Time and Krypt from MK11

Definitely Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe since I had The PS3 for a Birthday Present and it was One my Favorites
I loved the minigames of the ps2-era mortal kombat games. Deadly alliance and Deception where pretty good but one thing that threw me off at the time was the lake of classic characters at he expense of new characthers and the artstyle, which was good but I prefer the simpler retro look.

Just yesterday i bought MK11 ultimate edition and iam at chapter 11....i loving this game man....iam not good at MK games ... I played MK 9 when i had ps3 and after along time i decide to buy MK 11. I'm not sure there is really any worst game. Almost all the mortal kombat came with their unique feature and style which i love. If i could afford all consoles and games, i would get all titles and just enjoy it.😅

Saying Stryker is a cool character along with the other ones mentioned is an extremely hot take, I honestly think the best thing about Stryker is his moveset.

My first Tekken game was Tekken 3. (Considered the best in the series)
My first Assassin's Creed game was AC II. (The best and peak of AC)
Though Street Fighter is probably the odd one out for me since my first was Street Fighter Ex plus a 😂😂
Not to mention, they always bring out an ultimate version of the game with everything unlocked, and sometimes for a cheaper price. I'm gonna wait, just like Street Fighter 6.

There are a lot of reasons to own a PS5. The insanely fast loading times, the fact that it makes your PS4 games better with the upgrades, the leap in and out of multiple games, the library is really good in my opinion. The controller is a huge leap forward.
@@billyc3035 I’m not dishing out hundreds of dollars for loading times and graphics. Honestly, there are only about 15 games I even like on the PS4 and that took time to come out with. It’s too bad the majority of games that come out today are just not fun to play. Games were much more fun in the 90’s and 2000’s.
Can we please just agree that Armageddon is the best mk…. Shaolin monks is also easily the most underrated game of all time
I've played Mk deception, 9, X and 11, my best out of all four wikl forever be deception because of the chess mode i got to play with my older brother even though i always won 😅

Comparing old games to new games is stupid. The technology wasn't available back then so it's completely unfair and dumb to compare and contrast. With that being said
MK is S tier because it laid the foundation.
MK2 is S tier because it improved on the original in every single way
UMK3 is S tier because it fixed all the mistakes of the 3rd game which was already good.
MK3 is A tier because it fell a little short of expectations

You’re being a bit too biased on certain things you nitpick. For example, you complain too much about customization for 11 and 1 to where that’s the main reason you demote the games rank. That’s like saying “I don’t like the Lakers jersey design they went with this year so they’re not a great team compared to last years” keep your rubric solid and consistent. Creativity, originality, gameplay mechanics, characters (if you want), and story.
Mk11 just feels horrible to play very sluggish slow movement I think it’s one of if not the worst mortal kombat I’ve ever played but the story was entertaining I enjoyed it

Idk, I guess, towers of time. The story was pretty good, too (in my opinion, at least). I don't know why, but grinding for all the skins and gear pieces is actually fun for me. I just want something to keep me busy.

That's not true. I'm a huge MK11 fan. MK11 is completely different now than it was when it was 2 months old. MK1 has to age to have a justified comparison. I'll be mindblown if they step they game up and make MK1 a completely different experience 1 year from now. Who knows

In mk1 that mode is Still missing in a KOTH despite multiple updates and the skins in mk1 are hella mid its on the right path but they dropped the ball when mk1 first got launched what a total mess. And MK11 was my most hated mk game and it still has more features than mk1 sadly. 🤷♂️

I would say MKX.. agree on the list buuut the MK vs DC.. it just sucks, like it is nothing but a cameo game (never been a fan of this crossover games) , totally pointless..would rank it an F tier, maybe D at the very best but the rest is on point 🤙
Mk1 if it's not for the gameplay would be a c or d tier, they buried some characters, everything so colourful (hate the arenas with all my heart) etc, etc.. they messed up with this multiverse thing, and got even worse from its predecessor
