    Great vid fam! I have another video idea for you. In my opinion, it is very interesting for beatmakers/producers when a producer deconstructs a beat where the artists have made a lot of views on it. Shows which vsts you used etc. Maybe you could do something like that with, for example, the beat you made for white 2115 - 18? for me this beat is something amazing and I would love to see how you came to put this whole sound together. • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  5 месяцев назад

      That's a great question - it definitely happens to me. I think the way you can expand your sound and keep it fresh while staying in your niche is by experimenting with the 2nd/3rd tag you use for your type beats. For example if you're going for "Post Malone type beat" you can try different other tags like "post malone x dominic fike type beat" for more indie guitar type beats or do "post malone x lil baby type" for more melodic rap type beats. But try not to go in too many different directions because at the end of the day you want a consistent sound to attract artists/subscribers who are looking for that thing. Let me know if that makes sense 🙏

My niche was Afrobeats and Afro R&B but I'm thinking, for this niche especially, it would be better to just put the artists in a type beat. So Tems Type Beat, Burna Boy Type Beat, Rema Type Beat, Libianca/ Omah Lay etc. Haven't had the most success with just putting Afrobeats and Afro R&B Type Beat into the title. Anyone else got some tips on that?

    • @prodzbeatz

    • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  4 месяца назад

      Hey man to prevent people from doing content ID on your beats I’d register all your beats with a RUclips partner like identifyy. If it’s already happened though you will need to appeal the claim with RUclips and tell RUclips this artist purchased a license for the beat from your beatstore, include the link to your beat on Beatstars and say that it’s expressly against your license agreement for them to do content ID for this song using your beat.

    • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  4 месяца назад

      Hey bro usually I’d recommend having a seperate channel for tutorials and type beats because they’re for different types of audiences. Type beats are mostly for artists and tutorials are mostly for producers. And if you mix them on your channel it’ll confuse potential subscribers and make it hard hard for them to understand what you do and if it’s worth it for them to subscribe. So I’d recommend having separate channels.

    thanks for the video.Would using a screenshot from the artist's music video as a cover for a type beat cause any copyright issues? I've noticed that most producers use edited video clips in 1920×1080, while others use smaller sizes, like 1080×1080

    • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  Месяц назад

      Yes, it will claim anyone’s video that uses your beat that the system picks up. But you can whitelist their channel and release the claim. And it’s better for you to do it because if not then an artist will most likely claim content ID on it when they’re not supposed to and then it’ll claim and monetize on all other buyers videos and your original beat video. Let me know if that makes sense!

      @@prodzbeatz Can I ask a question? You seem the one to ask. I am making content for a future channel about outdoor adventures, I am making some music for my videos, but i want to use some artists tunes in videos for now. i messaged some artists who's tracks i want to use, no replies yet. Can I just mention them and not monetise the video? any info appreciated

      @@dazdeluxe6672 yo, I’m not entirely sure but I believe as long as you credit them in the video you should be good. But depending on the artist and if they use content ID on their songs they’re RUclips partner may monetize your ad revenue on the video (if you’re able to run ads on it)

    I've heard that if you have a dead youtube channel, you'd better start again. In my case, I haven't posted in 1 year, so do I have to start all over again even though I have over 200 subscribers?

    • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'd suggest starting a new channel in your case. Especially if you're going to change your sound from what you did before. Because trying to get your old subscribers attention/views after being gone for so long will be tough since they probably aren't thinking about your channel anymore. And the RUclips algorithm weighs your current subscribers engagement with a lot more importance compared to new viewers, so it'll be tough to break out of that. If you start a new channel with good SEO (picking good keywords and staying consistent) you'll be able to gain 200+ subscribers a lot faster than if you went back to your old channel and tried growing it now. Let me know if that makes sense.

    I'd argue that leaving out the key and BPM in the description is better because it forces people to engage with your video and comment below asking for it, more comments = more engagement which the algorithm likes

    • @prodbyzbeatz
      @prodbyzbeatz 7 месяцев назад

      That's a good point! Never thought about it like that. Didn't know if an artist would skip the beat if they didn't see that info immediately

    • @beatsbyalvin
      @beatsbyalvin 7 месяцев назад

      If they really wanted to know it would be available on your beat store so it forces them to click through also. You kinda need to act like a RUclipsr as well as a producer because there is no obligation for an artist to interact with a faceless channel posting beats - they either skip or download the beat without saying a word whereas in other niches, comments and likes are encouraged for more impressions. Leveraging human psychology like this can help the reach of your videos and personally I've gotten like 2 sales redirecting people to my site for the key and BPM. @@prodbyzbeatz

    • @prodzbeatz
      @prodzbeatz  6 месяцев назад

      that’s definitely true - having a face to brand helps a lot. And yea good point! If they invest the time to go to your beatstore to find the bpm and key there’s a much higher likelihood they’ll buy a beat since they’re already there

      Hey bro the base level of vidiq is £15 a month and that's all you need. You could also use tubebuddy. In my opinion it’s worth it so you know what keywords to go after. Because if not, you’re just guessing.
