Storyboarding BLOOD SIMPLE

While preparing our release of BLOOD SIMPLE, photographer Grant Delin created a video that compares scenes from the film to their original storyboards, with commentary by Joel and Ethan Coen, cinematographer Barry Sonnenfeld, and actor Frances McDormand.

My all time favorite movie ! I've seen it 13 times and still finding things. Like the fish that are put on top of Lorens lighter are red herrings. So it's both a metaphorical red herring and a literal red herrings ! This was everybody's first time out! Frances, Joel and Ethan, and Carter. It gave them all lifetime careers! This is the most tense thriller you will ever see. And the brilliance is all the characters think they are smarter than each other and you as the audience viewer think how can they all be so dumb, and then the movie ends are you go "WTF?" and realize you need to see it again as Joel and Ethan are smarter than you :D

It hasn't changed at all. They still do exactly this. They storyboard everything.
