Excellent video mate!!! You confirmed and answered all the questions I had. I can get on with putting the radiators In my static caravan. Thanks again mate
very clear and concise explanation of how you planned and installed the piping. if you put as much focus into all your other jobs, i am sure you´re flat will look amazing in the end. good luck.
thank you very much for your message. I have been doing just that ;] Keep an eye out for my next video on how to wire all the electrical circuits in a domestic house.
Old video, but well done you. One thing I gleaned from YT is that not all Rads are fed to the left, some are fed through the TTRS Valve on the right (Arrow markings I believe) so make note if someone else is having a go. Also I would want to pressure test my joints before flooring. Not sure what you'd use in this case? Maybe some sort of air pressure gauge. Would be a nightmare to rip up all the floor if indeed a joint had failed.
Nice job mate. But I wouldn't use compression fittings on new installation especially in cavity walls. Also I would use pipe bender to avoid using so many elbows.
I’m trying to learn, but I thought cold water feed had to go to kitchen tap first then everywhere else with a no return valve, but here it goes to the toilet first? Can the water not come backwards and contaminate drinking water?
Hi Marcus, no worries. No the contaminated water goes out through the sewer and clean water goes into the cistern above the toilet. So it’s allllllll good :)
Matt Hutton - thanks for the reply mate. So in the plumbing world there’s no way the water can come backwards down the pipe and contaminate anything? Wait, isn’t inside the cistern where the water feed overhangs the main body of water and never comes in direct contact with it?
Matt Hutton - thanks Matt! Better late than never my friend 🤣 I bought a NVQ Level 2 plumbing book now so hopefully I will learn more 😀 But I have to read my woodworking one first.
David Henderson I wanted a gas safety certificate for the boiler install so I got a gas safe engineer to do it. If your are building somewhere you want to rent or live in, it might be better to get a gas safe registered engineer to install the boiler because they will take on the liability for the installation and if something goes wrong they are insured. Also your council won’t sign off the building as completed if you don’t have that certificate.
David Henderson yes I don’t usually film the stuff I didn’t figure out myself. Our combo boiler has a gas in connection, hot flow and cold return connections and a cold mains water in connection. There’s a video I found from this guys Allen hart who shows how to fit a boiler that I found when I was considering it: ruclips.net/video/5GHT834JUOY/видео.html Let me know if you manage to do it :) Best regards Matt
Quite a few draw offs as in cold water and hot ect. Prob be better with a pressurised cylinder. Also really should of done as many pulled bends in as many places as poss. And the fittings not cleaned at all. Just try to use less fittings. But not to bad.
Great stuff mate. There's an issue with installing a boiler yourself though as building regs need to be notified about the installation. If you do it yourself you'll end up pleading with gas safe plumbers to come and sign off your installation. Which of cause they won't do as it'd be like putting you on their insurance :)
well done. I need a plumbers mate job to be able to terminate my NVQ2
Darian Caballero Medina thanks my man. :) I’m not a plumber but maybe someone in the comments can help you :) I’ll pin your post to the top.
Another option is the get the gas safe done which is essentially nvq level 3, however saying that, it is quite tricky.
Man, you helped me to actually understand the layout of the pipes from the boiler, thanks a lot. Good luck with the project
Hi. Probably the most informative video I have seen. You explain to system extremely well. Thank you and we'll done..
Looking into doing my own central heating system, great vid bud thanks for sharing. 👌🏻
Excellent demonstration.
Only just seen this, thanks Matt very helpful as are some of the comments. Looks far neater than my pipework that was done professionally.
Oh nice :) good to know. Glad you liked it
Your videos are incredibly helpful dude!
Thanks for watching :) glad you enjoyed it
Mate, this was proper helpful. Good job
Nice, glad you liked it :)
Superb mate. Nice and easy to follow.
Excellent video mate!!!
You confirmed and answered all the questions I had. I can get on with putting the radiators In my static caravan. Thanks again mate
Steven Pearsall no worries :) I’ve got a video on how to install radiators too. Subscribe if you like and check out my other videos
Top video mate, you just saved me hours of googling 😉 keep up the good work.
George Harvey cheers mate ;)

Top video fella and well explained
Cheers mate
Great video mate and impressive work ! Well done 🔧
Cheers mate
Superb video, really informative
Glad you liked it mate, hope it was helpful ;)
Really good video but you really should have a double check valve after the stop tap to prevent black flow and prevent contaminating the water mains
Spot on mate, thanks for this it saved me loads of time and actually seeing it makes much more sense than diagrams
Liam Burnard no worries at all, thanks for watching ;)
Do you have an updated list of all the parts needed to install a boiler, combi, and six radiators, e.g., horizontal flue and plume kit and so on, etc.
found the video very informative and useful
Ratch Riat great 👍 glad you found it useful
Good job. Well done and keep up the good work.
Great video chap. Thanks
Alex Smith no worries, glad you enjoyed it
Well done! Seems like you clearly know what you will do next :)
Great job but I would have advised you didn't have to copper pipes touching each other as it can cause vibration
That’s for the feedback, no problems so far but good to know.
@@MattHutton good to hear matt keep up ylthe good work 👍
Great video, exactly what i was looking for.
Cheers bud 👌
That was awesome thanks dude
No problem, I’m glad you found it useful, it would mean a lot to me if you’d be happy to subscribe ❤️

Iby J nice, thanks for your comment
Great video. Keep it up.
Good video mate. Out of interest did you lag your pipes or as it was above insulation and assume you were floor boarding you didn’t need to?
Excellent..that is great
Great video mate. Cheers.

Marcus, I don’t know I’m not a plumber. But, you can drink the water from the cistern as long as you don’t poop in it lol
Marcus just seen the second half of your comment, I’m sorry. Yes the water feed hangs over the main body of water in the cistern and drip fills it.
Matt Hutton - thanks Matt! Better late than never my friend 🤣 I bought a NVQ Level 2 plumbing book now so hopefully I will learn more 😀 But I have to read my woodworking one first.
Any chance of doing a boiler installation from start to finish?
David Henderson I wanted a gas safety certificate for the boiler install so I got a gas safe engineer to do it.

@@MattHutton so I guess the gas engineer wouldn't let you film it? Is that wishful thinking?
So you connected a mains pipe to the boiler with a hot and a flow and return?
David Henderson yes I don’t usually film the stuff I didn’t figure out myself.
Our combo boiler has a gas in connection, hot flow and cold return connections and a cold mains water in connection. There’s a video I found from this guys Allen hart who shows how to fit a boiler that I found when I was considering it: ruclips.net/video/5GHT834JUOY/видео.html

@@MattHutton thanks mate
You have a good channel
keep it up
Thx mate
dastan rasul no worries
Where did you also find the best place to buy the copper pipe and the couplings?
Tooostation for all joints and b and q for all pipes
Google JTM Plumbing.. Great prices & next day delivery. I use them all the time.
Hope you pressure tested those fittings b4 you hid all the pipes because it looks like you over heated them
Yeah baby 4.5 bar
Yes you definitely overheated them but fair play. As soon as you see that soldier run take off the heat. 👍 If the pipe is black it's overheated.
Dion Weston good to know, thanks :)

Gbemiga Meduoye thanks for your comment ;) all signed off.
Let us see it when you have finished it too.
ptb2008 will do ;)
Hey ptb2008 here it is mate, I didn’t forget you: ruclips.net/video/pcI4ps4AJkI/видео.html
Nice and neat but would never stand up to water regs 👍
Funny how it passed...
Didn't fancy burying all the pipes in the stud walls then ? 🤔
Hey simon staines thanks for the comment :)
No it would have meant a lot more pipe and drilling through brick and studs.
Matt Hutton look much nicer tho fella 😇 got any finished vids of the job?
simon staines will upload a video soon of me mounting one of the floating radiators:) subscribe and you’ll get a notification when I upload ;)
Heating circuit pipe work requires insulating as it will lose heat to the subfloor ... just saying
Don’t you think stop valve should be at point of entry to new building .. ?? Bad practice not to !!
Bad sound quality
Soz
Terrible video erm not very clear at all
What would you have liked to be done differently?
