    Great stuff. I started intermittent fasting 7 weeks ago, my eating window is from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and I work out in the morning before I eat, I am down 24 lbs since I started which isn't bad for a 61 year old man that hadn't worked out in 10 years. I still have another 15 to lose, walking 4 miles a day and doing reasonable work outs but I can really tell how the extra 10 years has changed things. I'm trying not to hurt anything taking more time to recover but its getting better every week.

      Are you aware that she competes with people who have admitted to taking steroids? Are you aware that it’s physically impossible for a female to be as diced and muscular as she gets when she beats the other admitted steroids users? She’ll admit to eating cookies but wont admit to taking steroids as it will completely ruin her brand image. She also sends the message to girls that they’d get grossly over muscular if they lifted.

      As a bodybuilder, I can confirm we all use PEDs. Fat burners like ephedra and clenbuterol are what enable us to have some extra calories and sweets while still losing weight. Also Tren is a great fat burner cos of how it raises the core body temp. Most people are too sheltered to understand how common steroids are with people in the gym lifestyle.

    When I am able to ''life permitting'' I like to eat 3 meals and one shake per day. I like to wake up at 7am, cardio from 8 to 9am. Lunch at 12 noon. Gym at 2, shake while at the gym. Supper at 4:30-5pm and I stuff down my last meal two hours after supper just to make sure I hit my macros. I like to eat everything in a time restricted window of six hours ''life permitting''. I have found that to be the only way I can really sustain weight loss. When I am on point, I will shoot for 225 grams of protein a day, 200 carbs, 100 fat @275lbs I'm 177cm/Five foot ten. Usually... Right now though I am more like 375 pounds because of life. But that will go away in time as I am getting back on track.
    Dana you are a huge inspiration.
    Thanks.

    Thank you for your energy and your work Dana! I love for you (and us) where your path has led you. While your competitive career was obviously impressive, part of what was so awesome was the way you got there over time and without crazy bulk cycles...but of course you still had to do the crazy cutting phases. I think the work you're putting out now is even better because it's very relatable to us everyday folks. I'm a female trainer who aspires to big muscles and major leanness, but I refuse to do extreme bulk and cut cycles, so I have to accept time and patience and you help reinforce that. This was really helpful for me to see that you're able to maintain your (monster) muscle mass, lifting volume and intensity and conditioning AND work while eating just around 1500 calories a day, 126g pro, 181g carbs and 37.9g fat. Thank you for being you, for your commitment and consistency to creating and for role modeling how to live this life on the everyday. It's inspiring, truly unique in this fitness industry, and very helpful. ❤

      @whitetrashandhellbound6905 4 года назад +1

      @@CM7777... Actually, for her weight, height and age her "1600" calories is what she needs for her MUSCLE GAIN. You always lose muscle before fat, hense the supplements, they slow your body from eating muscle tissues to survive. She works put as a Job, so very active. Like I stated before. If you are not active all day, or if your Macros do not gel with your lifestyle then you are looking at gaining fat because your body will store these extra calories as Fat. Even if you eat 1000+ calories less then your allotted macros then your body will go into a Survival Stat and use your calories to store fat also, in fear of you Starving to death. It really is a "Catch 22". This is why so many people give up on their weight loss journey. It's not so much "Laziness" like everyone thinks, it's the lack of understanding of the process and the Depressing Feeling of watching that scale number go up instead of down, it is disheartening. These youtubers don't usually have "Normal" metabolism or Genetics. Or they use GHG or under the counter supplements. Not saying this girl does but not saying she doesn't. Just throwing out a number like "1600 Calories" and calling it a "Weight loss state" is very bland and inaccurate. If you are serious about losing weight start slow and find your own macro needs, stick to it and you will be ok. It's all about eating habits. If you are a Large Person and drink alot of pop you can literally keep sitting on the couch, but stop drinking pop and lose a few pounds.

    Great recent videos by the way. I’m a big believer to only eat what you need for the day. If you’re going to sit around, eat less, even if you feel hungry. If you work really hard for the day, eat more. The feeling of hungry goes away and you’re body gets used to it. Imagine working hard everyday, eat a lot. Then on a day you don’t do any work, you still eat a lot. Doesn’t make sense to me.

      Actually I don't. Not everyone is made for a life like that. Way too much stress and pressure always having to be your best. Probably very little time for any sort of family life or friends for that matter. In the internet age she now has to always be "on" and producing content or else she loses her livelihood. And having to be that meticulous about your diet just looks like hell. Yea no I'll pass on that life.

    I was never breakfast eater, I eat my lunch dinner/ combo between 1 pm and 2 pm ..snack at 6 pm and I don't Eat again until 1 or 2pm the next day!
    I will make a protein shake drink half and then maybe have the other half for my 6pm snake But mostly
    I will save it for the next.
    and yeah I workout MUCH
    better on a empty STOMACH💪
    I may have a banana At 8am that's it!!

    I've probably been doing IF unintentionally for years, just because of work requirements. Last month I started keto and have steadily reduced my eating window to around 4 hours. I'll feel hungry when I first wake up, but once I start working out, it goes away until 11-12. It's definitely helped with the weight loss; 13 lbs. in the first three weeks. Thomas DeLauer talks a lot about the benefits of fasted exercise; not sure if you've watched any of his stuff or not. Dr. Eric Berg is my other go to for IF and Keto.

    Intermittent fasting works. Thanks Dana for the video. Working night shift , I go 15 hours without eating. Do 30 minutes of fasted cardio. One hour and 20 mintues of a high reps workout. What drink during my work out is apple cider vinegar with a krystal light peach mango in water. For me I don't get lightheaded or feel like I'm going to pass out. 1200 calorie protein shake and then eat my first meal at 6:30 pm. Next meal is at 12:30 am. Working 3rd shift and trying to eat and train is tough. Thanks for the video. Brussels sprouts and bacon hmmmmm.
