Online dating is the worst, the only people fascinated by it are the ones who don't have to actually use it LOL. It is probably best for couples not to use the apps as a game though. There are genuinely people on the apps looking for relationships. It gets frustrating when people swipe right but never plan on actually responding to a message. That happens enough as it is - because the sheer amount of people - couples don't need to be on there making it worse!
This makes me sound bitter, I am actually not on dating apps anymore but a lot of people I know are and this is a common complaint of theirs.
That said - you are fantastic - this video was super helpful AND can be applicable to things like cover letters for jobs.

Loved this video, I actually did do online dating. I had just passed my LPN NCLEX, was working like a MoFo, didn’t have time to go out and meet anyone. Back drop, went through a divorce just before starting nursing school, had 3 teen kids. So by time I finish and passed my boards, there was no social life at all, I met some very interesting people and some not so interesting people ( too say the least).I was in a place of rediscovering of myself, I had a certainty of what I didn’t like or want as partner, but not sure of what I liked or needed, I learned in the process you can have a drink with anyone once ( in a safe public place of course ). I like listening to people’s plan and future goals. I did meet my person on Tinder, May 2016.
We been together for 4 1/2 years, the first 2 were long distance, moved in together October 2018, married in April 2019, we are happily ever after ❤️. We still lol about meeting on Tinder but that’s our love story !!!
      So to each their own.
I would say, however dating be safe!!!!

I was thinking outside the box and was thinking of doing something like Nurse Haddy from Doc McStuffin's.... is that weird or different enough to get me a place on the accepted list?

    Hi Liz,
Do you have any advice for students who have no experience in the medical/nursing field outside of college courses and pre reqs. Unfortunately the town I attended college in only allowed shadowing, and preferred experienced volunteers, or certified health workers in order to be considered. I had to work a full time job in college, while being a full time college student in order to support myself financially. Which unfortunately, left me with no time to shadow or gain medical experience. My goal was to shadow this entire year since I graduated in May 2020 with my BS in Biomedical science, however, due to COVID, hospitals in my region are not shadowing. Basically, do you have any tips pertaining to writing personal statements with no experience to sort of bounce off of or relate to? Should I mention any of this in my statement? Thank you in advance I highly appreciate your time.
