I think each offers its own sets of challenges. RN school was like building a small house on a foundation of mud. NP school is like building a mansion on a solid foundation of concrete. The building is more complex for NP school, but you've already learned how to build this time around, and you have your RN foundation holding you up.
Currently in nursing school and I feel like the comments you made about nursing school are spot on. Sometimes we get nurses who don't even want us following them so they do things really fast so we cant learn from it.
I was literally a rocket scientist before nursing school... and I have to admit Nursing school is haaard. The material itself is not difficult....it's just so much so fast. "Learn all these meds in a weekend: is way harder than "find the numerical solution to this differential equation"....ugh
Personally, the way she described NP school was exactly they I felt about my BSN program. There were no professors hinting at important topics and giving us outlines on what we needed to know for tests.. No, they took up their lectures going off-topic about unrelated scenarios and gave us impossible reading assignments lol. Kind of makes me feel good about trying on NP school if I decide to! Been on the fence for a few years now.
"It was a brutal weekend, but it could be done" Wow I relate so much as I'm going into my junior year of nursing school! I have to say I hate the select the most correct questions because at least with the select all questions I can use the power of elimination with each answer given! (If that makes any sense)
My nursing school instructors were terrible with their lectures. So, I completely buried my head in the textbooks and learned way more than I would have if I had just tried following the instructors. I got all As thanks to textbooks 📚. Thanks for your videos Liz 🙏. Hope NP school instructors are better lectures
hi liz! I am currently in an ABSN program wanting to pursue my dream of becoming an FNP just like you! you don’t know how helpful and enjoyable your videos are, it’s like having an older sister to ask anything/everything about nursing. love you!!
SATA were awful, but I never knew about the “put these in order” questions until I was mid-NCLEX sh*tting a brick 😅😅😅 Also I start my FNP program in January & I’m sooooo scared lmao. Newborn arriving in October... currently working FT as an ICU nurse. Pray for me 😅😅😅
NOOOOO Thats like worst case scenario!! But you survived! haha. And you will be totally ok. One day at a time momma! Congrats on the upcoming little :)
Isabel I am exactly in your boat! I start FNP school in January, work full time in an ICU and am trying to get pregnant.... You are not alone! We can do this!!!
Im currently in FNP school and I felt like nursing school was a lot harder, for most of my classes for FNP have been lecture based, and I havent really needed to use a textbook unless it was for clarification. My NP program is not online though, and they place us with preceptors for clinical. I have heard similar stories from friends who take NP school online. I felt nursing school was harder because I didn't come in with any knowledge on healthcare, but I did not do an accelerated program. Its interesting to hear everyone's point of view!
The worlds most boring frustrating scavenger hunt! Yes. Love that. Your description is so spot on about NP school. I love your videos. They are so relatable and all the encouragement you give to those who are questioning weather they want to finish is so nice to hear when you want to give up. I love and dislike NP school at the same time. It is a challenge but soon to graduate in May 2021.
I think it honestly depends on the nursing school, because the thing you described about NP school (You’re going to need to finish this even though you can’t. Not giving specific information on what will be tested) is exactly what is happening in my traditional BSN nursing program. So do research on the specific school before applying.😩
Thank you for your insight....believe it or not, as scary as you make NP school sound in comparison with nursing school....the use of a colicky infant as the worst end of the scale made me feel MUCH better. When people ask about the hardest thing I've ever done, it was hands down working ER on weekends while caring for my mother (who had breast cancer) and raising 3 children under 12 while my husband was deployed to Iraq for 18 months. Soooooooooo..... I'm still terrified of NP school (starting next week) but you actually reminded me that tough times are just that, tough but I will survive!!!! Thanks for your great video.
@@NurseLiz I finished 1st (summer) semester w/ 4.0, it was mostly bridge/portal classes. Now, 2nd semester just started and I read the various assignments and syllabi and may or may NOT have thrown up in my mouth. Your videos continue to motivate and encourage me, so THANK YOU!!! Seriously, thank you!!!!!!
I studied both in my Country, Cyprus, nurse practitioner school was absolute hell. But I'm sort of glad that you also described the same experience in regards to the material that we needed to study. We didn't get any specific material to study from, we had topics, lists of books and references. We used the internet a lot and we watched videos. I'm glad that my English is pretty good because the lectures and exams where in Greek but the sources were in English, which was different from nursing school because they were books for nurses in Greek but not for NPs. Advanced nursing practice is currently in its infancy here, there's only one program and it is modelled after programs in the US and Canada.
Thanks for this video! I’m years away from NP school, but I’m glad to hear what you said about nursing school clinicals not being that helpful. I thought it was just mine being a lower than the standard I expected. On the subject of nursing school questions, my least favorite are “choose the best.”
Its funny because the way you describe having to figure stuff out on your own in NP school is how my BSN program was. Soo I hope that surviving that has prepared me for NP school.
I was thinking the same thing! Everything I learned in nursing school I pretty much had to teach myself. Our lectures were not helpful whatsoever. And I personally found nursing school to be harder than being a mom so the “hardness” scale is a little off for me 😭 Im thinking about going to NP school but now that I know 40 page papers are a thing… idk if I can do that 😔 I’ve always had a hard time writing essays
I just began my AGACNP program approximately 10 weeks ago. In nursing school, I felt like I was learning a lot but was never truly “challenged” with the course work-graduated summa cum laude. Now in NP school, I’m constantly second-guessing myself and working extremely hard to churn out work that happens to be about average. I like the fact that I am challenged now, as unnerving as it is, and I am the type of person who would rather approach a challenge and give it my all and risk being unsuccessful than to never attempt it in the first place. Great video Liz, you’ve really reassured this NP student.
Coming from an accelerated BSN prgm to a FT FNP prgm, I do think FNP is WAY more difficult in terms of the massive amount of content. Clinical application was also a difference too for me. In the ABSN, I felt like I needed to know illness, why, treatment (that was never ordered), in the FNP realm, I needed to know illness, risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnostics, and treatment plan which is a whole range of things.
Hey Michelle, how’s ur FNP program so far? I have a question for u. Are u coming from accelerated BSN prgm to fnp prgm directly or u also did bedside rn first?
Would like you now to compare np to MD, do, and pa school. Trying to see which will prepare me best to help the most people (without killing me, destroying my health). Also, can np ever do (or help with) any type of surgical procedure
I’m considering entering NP school, APA gave me nightmares in Nursing School I’m mentally preparing myself knowing I have to be even more intentional with it in NP school thanks for the advice!
I'm in the FNP program. This is what I know: 1. doing a local, hybrid program is easier, it seems, than online programs. My friend is in the online program and it's more expensive, she has to take more courses overall (idk why), and she seems overloaded with material (maybe bc her classes are in 5 week increments, yikes). I like my hybrid class because it establishes a tad more guidance. 2. I am on a part time NP track AND I've adjusted my classes to where I take the harder classes by themselves and group the easier/more tedious classes. 3. I have yet to start the clinical portion and I presume that's when I will realize the the FNP program is more difficult
I'd have to say my PNP program is harder. Not necessarily due to the course work itself, but more so because I now have a husband, 2 small children, and work full-time. Yay, adulting!
I have been considering going for my FNP but nursing school was like a 2.5for me on your scale and the stress really effected my health. I managed to keep straight A’s though. Now after hearing how much harder the FNP was for you, I don’t think I cam do it.
School is rough for sure, but there's nothing wrong with knowing and being respectful of your own limits. If it's not for you and your health, then that's okay! You keep rockin it as a nurse!
Soooo, my current nursing program is setting me up pretty well then. Our program, the lectures are usually ok, but we have to deep dive the books or be completely lost.
I am currently in FNP school. Many of your statements made me laugh because they are SO true. This is very good information for those who are thinking about NP school or wanting to know the difference between nursing and NP school. I also agree that FNP school is much more challenging. You are on your own in NP school and I feel it's more of a sink or swim mentality. I also agree that clinical is much more educational in NP school versus RN school. Can you tell that I have been writing lots of discussion boards with my "I agree with" statements...LOL!! I'm heading to clinical now!! Love your channel!!
Savage Life Hello I agree with you that NP school is like sink or swim. I’m also in NP school and just finished clinical for this semester. I’m in a FNP program. What NP program are you in (FNP or a specialty like Peds)? Enjoy clinical😊
@@alberta6662 I am in a general Family Nurse Practitioner program, no specialities. We have a pediatric rotation, but I prefer to stay in just family medicine. I bet it feels fantastic to be finished with clinical this semester!! I wish I could say that...lol Good Luck with your NP program also!!
I"m glad I"m not the only one who's had that experience! SO MANY "I agree" statements haha. omg that made me laugh. "what an excellent point marie, I completely agree".
Im just beginning my journey and taking prereqs for an ADN program. My end goal is becoming an psych NP. Im praying because with my Masters in Social Work, I didnt have to study a lot but I understand that nursing is a totally different monster so I have to have good study skills.
So interesting that your nursing school experience didn't rely on textbooks! I'm currently finishing up my accelerated BN program and the professors would lecture exactly how you described FNP - the topic /might/ be relevant, but for the most part they'd give bare minimum info and expect you to know the tiniest of details in 100+ page readings per week! So tough D:
Unfortunately most are like that 😑. It's wildly frustrating and a HUGE flaw with nursing education. in my opinion. I just did an instagram poll actually to see who felt like they had to find all their own info vs being taught and over 80% felt like they didn't have lecture guided education. Which is horrible.
@@NurseLiz Wow. Not cool. Like, what am I paying all this money for? Vagueness? Lol. Thanks for the videos. You are knowledgeable and entertaining! 👍New subster! 💜
Liz, I feel like nursing school right now are adapting the way of NP schools cause they don't point out things anymore. I feel like the way I learn these days are way harder than what I graduated from a Bachelor's 20 years ago. They put lots of effort to make easy things too difficult which I don't know why
This sounds exciting she won't be able to see red and green. I know this because I'm I'm color blind. Did you say calculus? Yikes. I'm a readaholic and have a hard time enjoying myself watching tv. I really want to become an NP nurse. Already a CNA, PCT, physical therapy assistant, paralegal and now I want to remorse myself in this career. I enjoyed your content.
I just recently discovered your channel and am addicted! I want to go to nursing school so badly, but I am buried in student loan debt from undergrad and masters for human services/sociology. I'm so bummed :( You are hilarious and inspirational!
Welcome to the channel! I so hear you about the student loan debt. Check out your local community college for sure! And state schools. Some are super affordable, and if you are working during you can pay out of pocket. I also had some friends who got their education paid for by signing contracts with hospitals in rural areas and working there for 2 years post graduation. Always an option!
I totally agree with you that questions with choosing the most correct is the worst 😓. Whoever came up with those type of questions must hate humans 🤣🤣🤣
I'm in a flipped class for my nursing program right now. We don't have lectures for the info, we have discussion sessions in class. So yea, we have to teach ourselves all of the information before we get to class. So I guess I'm in a mini-NP program already? haha
SATA is terrible. You cannot miss anything cuz otherwise you got a zero on that question. Thank you for the video. I am mentally prepared for NP school.
I just found your channel and I am so happy and thankful for you. I wanted to ask how your grades were in nursing school. I’m so anxious and I have a year and a semester to go. I hope you see this. Thank you nurse Liz
Is it true it’s not easy for an NP to find an open position because there are not many openings at hospitals? I am a RN, but was advised not to waste time and money on an NP program. 😢
Hi Liz! Speaking of hands-on skills, how much hands-on skills would you say you need as an FNP? I’m the kind of person who has “two left hands” and is a total klutz, where popping out pills from a pack without dropping them on the floor can be a challenge sometimes. (Hence why I’m currently working in psych! Lol) I’m starting FNP school soon. I know that there are things like pap smear, IUD insertion, suturing, etc. but what are some other “hands-on skills” that you need as an FNP in a primary care setting? Thank you!!
Awesome Video! You are Hilarious! 😂😂 I feel like nursing school was overwhelming because I absolutely had to learn alot and NP school is frustrating because there isn't any real direction towards information and it's more vague. I haven't started clinicals yet, but that is frustrating as well, trying to find preceptors. I'm determined to get through though. Great video!👍🏾👍🏾
Hey Liz Thanks for another great video. I so wish I learned all these things prior to going back to school. Both style questions are challenging but SATA is my least favorite. I am with you about all the reading in NP school that there is no way to get through before you are tested on it. Thanks again. 🙂Alberta
Hi Liz!! I think I watched all of your videos😆😆You mentioned in 1 of them, Pathophysiology made incredibly easy. I found that title with 4 different authors. Which author was it that u suggest?
Currently a sophomore in high school and been kinda wanting to be a nurse practitioner but all this talk about nursing school and np school is making me scared of me failing everything, I currently had a 3.75 gpa
Lol sounds like her nursing program was easy peasy, cause mine is not like that at all u have to read and they maybe give u hints on stuff but out of let's say 30 things in a chapter that we maybe need to know they will tell us like 5 hints and about 20 things are gonna actually be tested on.
thats super frustrating! It definitely wasn't easy, but we did have awesome lectures, which I'm grateful for. Its incredibly unfortunate that nursing school in general doesn't see quality education as an important thing to focus on. Sorry you had a crappy experience.
I was just thinking that cause I heard another nurse practitioner say the same thing. Literally we were on our own in nursing school with very little direction, it was not good.
Does anybody know how/where I can order a white Littman stethoscope?! I love the one Nurse Liz has in her profile picture but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet!
Hi! My program was fairly competitive. You needed a few years of nursing experience and an undergrad GPA above 3.5 as well as unit leadership experience. It will vary by program
Greta Grzelewski oh I can’t imagine an accelerated program. Nursing school is just really hard honestly. But you can do it! If I did you definitely can lol
They're very different, and since I never went to CRNA school, I can't really speak for how tough it is. Once you've been out in the field for a little, you'll have a better idea of where you think you want to go.
Oh my oh my YES!, a colicky baby is #1. Not fussy, but colicky! Imagine a 22 year old with a baby that started crying at the same time EVERY EVENING for 4 hours straight until exactly 4 months! To this day I cannot wrap my head around that its a stomach issue! I swear I think its some type of emotional thing they are developing. Gripe water, Mylicon drops, music, car rides, 37 different formula tries, bicycle with their legs, and her grandma even put a sliver of soap (old school suppository) in that lil chocolate butt to make her poop.....NOTHING! I’m 38 and I remember it like it was this evening 🤣🤣😂 YES Colic #1! I guess I can do it then 🤣🤣😂😂 Anyway love your energy woman! And you could be a therapist because your delivery is the bomb!!! Keep doin what your doin!!!!! Just my 23 cents lol
When I encounter them, choose the more correct ones make me want to die. With Choose all that apply I know there’s a right answer, but with choose the more correct one I feel there’s a lot of ambiguity
Liz, thanks for your videos. Was your NP program a masters or Phd? Did you do it part time or full time? And did you work as a nurse throughout your NP program? And last question -- WHY did you decide to become an NP? (Money? Responsibility?) I am really on the fence of my long term plan.
It was a masters program! I did school part time and worked full time for the first two years and part time the last year! I wanted to provide primary care to people to keep them off the unit I was working on
I was hoping more so FNP school would be a 6, and BSN was a 3... I have decided I will be going back to school now. I’m applying to FNP school for the fall 2020 or spring 2021 start dates hopefully I will get in and do great! I have 2 years experience in adult tele, travel nursing for pediatric and PICU units, and just starting back up on another adult tele unit where I will hopefully gain more critical care experience to utilize in school and practice. 😊
I’m 17 and I’ve always wanted to be an NP but now I’m getting extremely scared because I’m not the brightest in math. I understand science but math omggggg i can study for hours and still not understand. What is the highest math level I would have to take ??
Nurse Liz omg thank God bc I thought I would need calculus and that’s super scary for me. I’m in PreCal at the moment and I’m really busting my butt for my grade 😂
Mmmi don't think many will agree with the ranking here. Nobody is going to call nursing school easy. U must not have been working during nursing school. Even if you don't work it's not easy. I seen my classmates struggle. I worked full time and school full time and never failed a class. But nursing school on the easy side of the scale? Hell no and I don't find that answer very often internet wide
I did actually work full-time during my BSN and ABSN, and yes, it was still challenging, but for me, NP school was more challenging. I'm just sharing my experience here to be compared to others, and it's perfectly okay if our opinions don't align.
I learned nothing in either schools but did well in both. Not useful to actual practice. Wish they taught me better and more. Cried a ton and had lots of anxiety in nursing school. Was too busy being pregnant n having babies and going to school so brain fart
Surprised to hear you put a newborn with colic at #1 when Avery's birth story was so traumatic. I thought for sure you'd say #1 was giving birth 😂The "Which is the most correct?" questions are the worst.
I think each offers its own sets of challenges. RN school was like building a small house on a foundation of mud. NP school is like building a mansion on a solid foundation of concrete. The building is more complex for NP school, but you've already learned how to build this time around, and you have your RN foundation holding you up.
such a cool analogy!
Currently in nursing school and I feel like the comments you made about nursing school are spot on. Sometimes we get nurses who don't even want us following them so they do things really fast so we cant learn from it.
yeah that is super frustrating. hope you get some good preceptors!
I always thought nursing school was hard, but now that I just started my NP school oh my I was wrong I find it equally challenging.
You got this!
nursing school to become an RN in BC was ruthless- i’m now an interior design student 🤣 i cant wait to design healthcare spaces lol
I was literally a rocket scientist before nursing school... and I have to admit Nursing school is haaard. The material itself is not difficult....it's just so much so fast. "Learn all these meds in a weekend: is way harder than "find the numerical solution to this differential equation"....ugh

Surprisingly this made me less nervous about NP school ty for putting it into perspective with nursing school 💓

I am applying to FNP, two kids deep, and survived a colicky baby who will be 4 y/o next month. You are relatable. I love witty nursing humor.
if you can survive a colicky baby you can do anything! fingers crossed for you!
So tough D:
Ugh that is so frustrating. Nursing education has so much room to improve
So what school did u go to so that I never go there for my MSN
Lol. Same thing I was thinking.
Right??? That’s what I always wondered. Why am I paying all this money for.. reading? 🤦🏻♀️. And thank you! Welcome to the channel!
@@NurseLiz Thanks!
uhh I'm a semester away from getting my BSN and still don't pay attention to objectives... whoops?
I didn't realize it until one year into NP school. Your fine haha
I wish I had lecture. All I get is a bunch of chapters and articles to read and then assignments. 😳😳😳
That's so ridiculous. I'm sorry
Nurse Liz thanks. I’m so glad I found your channel, you give such great tips and inspiration
Nursing school was the most challenge ever accomplished!
But you did it!!
Nurse Liz thank you for the tips!!
Hahahaha YES!! APA writing that makes my notes novel like. 🤣 “where’s my citation??”
Great video! Where did you get those cute glasses?
Warby parker!
I totally agree with you that questions with choosing the most correct is the worst 😓. Whoever came up with those type of questions must hate humans 🤣🤣🤣
YES. they are evil haha
I'm in a flipped class for my nursing program right now. We don't have lectures for the info, we have discussion sessions in class. So yea, we have to teach ourselves all of the information before we get to class. So I guess I'm in a mini-NP program already? haha
It sounds like it. That sounds awful!
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ Same. I strongly dislike the flipped classroom.
Her NP experience was my level 1 RN experience.
SATA is terrible. You cannot miss anything cuz otherwise you got a zero on that question.
Thank you for the video. I am mentally prepared for NP school.
Yeah. Those are pretty ridiculous. Good luck with school!
Nursing school is harddddd especially the accelerated ones.
Sounds like my nursing school. RUclips university and simple nursing is saving my life
I just found your channel and I am so happy and thankful for you.
Whoa where did u go for your MSN dude?
Thank you!!
other than suturing, theres some I&D, mole removal, etc. nothing crazy! And it totally depends on where you work!
Hi should I apply to a Entry level Masters program and get my FNP? Or should I apply for my ASN, work, then get my BSN, MSN, and FNP? Thanks!
I'm a huge fan of getting some RN experience before moving onto FNP but everyone is different!
What did you end up doing?
Awesome Video! You are Hilarious! 😂😂 I feel like nursing school was overwhelming because I absolutely had to learn alot and NP school is frustrating because there isn't any real direction towards information and it's more vague. I haven't started clinicals yet, but that is frustrating as well, trying to find preceptors. I'm determined to get through though. Great video!👍🏾👍🏾
Oof the preceptor hunt can be brutal. Fingers crossed for you!
Your are funny jokes about nursing really makes my day. Love your videos " where do I cite this"?
Aww thanks for watching!
I was laughing @ that too lol!
Hey Liz
Thanks for another great video. I so wish I learned all these things prior to going back to school.
Both style questions are challenging but SATA is my least favorite.
I am with you about all the reading in NP school that there is no way to get through before you are tested on it.
Thanks again. 🙂Alberta
It's definitely a ton of information. You got this!!
I’m so scared now 😭 I work as a CNA now for a 12 resident AFC going into nursing school.
You’ll be ok!
Hi Liz!! I think I watched all of your videos😆😆You mentioned in 1 of them, Pathophysiology made incredibly easy. I found that title with 4 different authors. Which author was it that u suggest?
oh no! Didn't realize that. It's this one!! amzn.to/2ws3lhv
Currently a sophomore in high school and been kinda wanting to be a nurse practitioner but all this talk about nursing school and np school is making me scared of me failing everything, I currently had a 3.75 gpa
Go for it!
I graduated high school with a GPA of 1.9. Been working as an RN for three years and am in NP school! If you want it, you can do it!!!
Ok. So I’m not alone.
Girl, i agree with you on clotting cascade 🤣
i was considering a direct entry np program... do you suggest doing rn school first instead of direct entry? or can you do a video about this?
please disregard! just found your video on this. you're awesome, haha
Everything you said about NP school I had to do in nursing school.
I was just thinking that cause I heard another nurse practitioner say the same thing. Literally we were on our own in nursing school with very little direction, it was not good.
@@missb1982 yes, almost like we was online or something and I had class once a week lol.
omg that's rough! I'm sorry 😞
@@NurseLiz lord knows :'(
Yessss I second this
Does anybody know how/where I can order a white Littman stethoscope?! I love the one Nurse Liz has in her profile picture but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet!
littman website?
Hi did you study NP school full time?
I...am terrified.
Omg I love you Liz. You are hilarious
❤️❤️
Hi Liz! Was it hard to get into NP school? I know my end goal is to be a FNP and I want to know how competitive is to get into NP schools.
Hi! My program was fairly competitive. You needed a few years of nursing experience and an undergrad GPA above 3.5 as well as unit leadership experience. It will vary by program
Was your program online ? (Online tends to have more papers than brick and mortar school, I think)
My NP program was hybrid, so we were on campus 1-2 times a month! SO..sorta? haha
@@NurseLiz ok thanks !
you are amazing, thank you
Nursing school was a 6??!?!?!??!
It was easily a 2 for me lol
Kelly Roberts I’m in Canada in a 3 year compressed program tho its kind of a lot lol
Greta Grzelewski oh I can’t imagine an accelerated program. Nursing school is just really hard honestly. But you can do it! If I did you definitely can lol
😂😂😂
@@Kelly_32 me too!!!!
How old are you? And how many kids do you have? Did you have them before or after nursing school?
I'm 30. I have one and one due in a month. My daughter was born 2/3 of the way through NP school
I heard CRNA school is brutal!
Any chance you can rate both?
I either want to be a CRNA or NP! Currently in nursing school now!
Hahahaha I love your 23 cents! Colicky baby is definitely. not. fun.
When I encounter them, choose the more correct ones make me want to die. With Choose all that apply I know there’s a right answer, but with choose the more correct one I feel there’s a lot of ambiguity
they're all just the worst haha
Liz, thanks for your videos. Was your NP program a masters or Phd? Did you do it part time or full time? And did you work as a nurse throughout your NP program? And last question -- WHY did you decide to become an NP? (Money? Responsibility?) I am really on the fence of my long term plan.
It was a masters program! I did school part time and worked full time for the first two years and part time the last year! I wanted to provide primary care to people to keep them off the unit I was working on
Which school did you go to for NP online or campus?
I went to a hybrid program so we were on campus for lab/lecture 1-2 times a month
40 pages??? Oh hell nah🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️
thats what I read in my Psych class. Currently in my prereq for nursing school
You've got this!
NP school I know is much harder because there is no more going to the doctor when your in deep shit, it’s all on you
I mean, not really true. You still work underneath a doctor. NPs are always consulting MDs about what to do in certain situations with patients.
George Blevins There’s 21 states that give NPs full autonomy so they don’t need physician supervision. It sounds scary tbh
No Face Iive in one of those states. We can practice on our own here in WA
1:48 Yikes! I am not a parent!! I start graduate school in a month! 😁
Congrats on grad school!
I’m 17 and I’ve always wanted to be an NP but now I’m getting extremely scared because I’m not the brightest in math. I understand science but math omggggg i can study for hours and still not understand. What is the highest math level I would have to take ??
You need basic algebra, usually algebra 1 & 2. and then statistics.
Nurse Liz omg thank God bc I thought I would need calculus and that’s super scary for me. I’m in PreCal at the moment and I’m really busting my butt for my grade 😂
I love her 💕
If you could decrease the number of ads on your channel, that'd be great
Mmmi don't think many will agree with the ranking here.
@@NurseLiz agreed! Thank you.
AWW, you worked for cheesecake factory! I love IT SOOOOO MUCH
It’s so good!
Currently a nursing Assistant sitting with a patient and the moment you said you might hear my dog snoring my patient snored
😂😂
I learned nothing in either schools but did well in both. Not useful to actual practice. Wish they taught me better and more. Cried a ton and had lots of anxiety in nursing school. Was too busy being pregnant n having babies and going to school so brain fart
ugh that is so frustrating!
Just so I don't go to that school. I'm looking at walden
Lol I love the humor
Thank you!
Surprised to hear you put a newborn with colic at #1 when Avery's birth story was so traumatic. I thought for sure you'd say #1 was giving birth 😂The "Which is the most correct?" questions are the worst.
Labor was 12 hours. Colic was 4 months haha.
NP school is not hard
I'm glad that was your experience! But everyone's experience is different.
check all that apply....literally THE WORST!
Of course the nurse would utilize a scale to give a description of something 🤣
haha its too deeply engrained to avoid it.
🙏🤴🤩
