I know this question seems odd for comment section of this video but I am surprised that no one has questioned or asked about why keener let hornet come after us and why keener didn’t tell him he was alive like it makes no sense that keener had him revived only for him do die again unless he is alive but they would have said something by now or showed him in a cutscene
I don't do any real DZ playing, However was playing around tonight, tinkering with builds, Made a 4 Piece Hunters Fury, SMG and the Super 90 Like Glue named shotgun, I used the Perfect Versatile backpack (Vigil) and contractor's gloves, Then for active modifier I used Reversal, Then, By the teeth, persistence and Quicken, My Banshee pulse was up always it seemed, And just destroying everyone, 1-2 quick taps with shotgun and the Oreo was just melting NPC's , shotguns and SMG's get 45% when swapping (amp damage) Amazing fun , if you want to go one step further and add 1 more piece of Legatus you get 70% optimal range LOL, so they are all in reach 😁 Sorry it just made me a little crazy, LOL
An underrated piece of gear is everyday carrier, makes the firewall armour kit even more busted and you can have a chance of having plenty of armour kits with its efficient perk
This build is good and all but how does it hold up in conflict i know expertise system is not carried over into conflict so intresting to see how it would hold up in that mode
It does decently, but one big aspect of Conflict is the stealth component- since there's no radar. By relying on Companion, and skills to proc it, having those skills buzz around and give away your location at all times isn't ideal. So it's not my favorite loadout to run in there
I put this build together and have been winning 99% more battles PVP than I was before. It is very strong even against the foam and Pestilence bots out there 😂
I'm still stuck at 17 expertise and no eb. Glad you mentioned other weapons to swap out with. I'm really going to try and find a group to help me get that gun. Thanks for the build video🫡
The EB can really come in clutch in PvP but only in the DZ. Rarely useful in Conflict. I'm stuck at 17 too, I just cba with it. The normal P416 is actually feeling quite good to me at the moment as well.
I tried linking a pvp guide that someone made in your server but didn't work. Main gist is that the guide had a build for pvp include a bleed build and a haz-pro smg build
Genuine question, wouldn't Providence Chest Bag and Holster be better for the damage in this build? Talents and Cores the same as in the Vid. But the Headshot would fit nicely with EB and the extra Crit Chance and Damage would also be great. Surely the 5% Damage to armor wont outperform the increases in Crit and the Headshot damage right?
I'm skeptical of 15% weapon damage (Fenris + Walker) + 5% DTA being outdone by HSD and crit bonuses. But I admit, I did not try that combo! Will definitely have to test it out when I can 👍
Hey! Contractors are used because the Damage to Armor stat they offer is calculated multiplicatively, instead of flat weapon damage or other additive bonuses. So if you compare the damage numbers using Contractors to other stuff, you'll see how the numbers are influenced by that 👍
I don't love it as much for Conflict, but certainly it would still do decently there 👍 Just be sure to change your crit stats accordingly to account for losing the SHD Watch bonuses once you go in
Have you had any problems with Unbreakable? If I have ANY armor regen on a build Unbreakable becomes really unreliable, it's cost me two hardcore agents so far
I have not noticed anything. That said I haven't run an armor regen build in quite a while, so maybe it's a specific issue with that? I'll definitely keep an eye out
Strega certainly isn't bad- but the lower mag size and on-kill talent make it a bit iffy for PVP IMO. I recommend the St Elmo's, or a high-end option like the FAMAS, Carbine-7, Honey Badger, or Police M4
Tried this very build in Dz and conflict and I keep running into the same scenario over and over in as much as I keep running into folks who seemingly have shed loads of armour but also seem to hit like flippin trucks too (usually pestilence or capacitor primary) and half the time I barley even seem to put a dent in there armour - it’s all very confusing to me as I can’t get how you can have sooo much armour but also kill so damn fast?🤷♂️
EB is lvl 26, gear is proficient but not upgraded any further- are you saying all your gear pieces are upgraded as it was my understanding that it costs a lot material wise for almost no benefit!?! Just looked at your vid again & seen you do have some expertise piled into gear, I’ll grind a little more & see if it makes all that much difference
@matthewthorp4727 I believe when I calculated it, the Expertise levels I have for my gear on this build are giving me about 1 additional Armor core's worth in value. So you might feel a little bit of a difference, but probably not night and day. At the end of the day, a lot in PVP purely comes down to skill and tactics as a player. I'm not sure how you play personally, but certain builds work for some's playstyles- others don't. I've learned to control the EB's recoil a lot, so my shot percentage is usually quite high in fights. I know how to stay mobile and break line of sight, to make the most out of my armor and survivability. So what your experiencing could come down to a number of things
@RogueGold Yeah - I get what you’re saying about it maybe being a skill issue/maybe down to play style, it could be me being a poorer pvp player - fully accept that, I’m currently working a 4th character through a WONY style run to fill up resources so I can add some expertise to my gear. What you’re saying about the extra armour tracks with what I’d been told previously by Dod (adds about 1 extra armour cores worth), and It’s not really worth burning exo’s on gear as the gains past a certain point aren’t worth it, but it might definitely be worth min/maxxing the defender drone etc so it lasts a little longer. Obviously though different people run different builds so some may be running higher damage to burn you down faster, but I’ve definitely run into a few folks who seem to have very high armour levels, but also very kill very quickly too which doesn’t make sense as it’s a trade off isn’t it - as in you can’t really have massive amounts of armour & really high dps too, it’s usually a case of sacrificing one for the other to some degree.
Even the highest armor values can still get shredded pretty quick in TD2 due to the lack of damage resistance stats/talents. A big part of staying alive is knowing when to take cover/break line of sight too 👍
A lot in PVP simply comes down to playstyle, and skill. Not every build will work for everyone, as everyone plays differently. Do you find yourself lacking in damage, survivability?...
@ After leaving that comment i continued playing and i’ve found that it’s wasn’t the damage or survivability messing me up rather then my own skill in picking fights. I noticed i was fighting people with more armor with too much confidence and too closely, i used your pvp guide for some tips, im slowly understanding what to and not to fight. Thank you for the help sorry for the salty comment
Hey! So, certain attributes like Damage to Armor, Damage to Targets out of Cover, and a few more are calculated multiplicatively, instead of additively like the base Weapon Damage stat is. So it's the difference between x8% instead of +10%. Hope that helps!
I did a lot of testing, and in my calculations Contractors offers the best average between crits and non-crits. But, that said- all of the various options are going to work great, and operate within percentages of each other 👍
It is considered one of the higher recoil weapons in the game. I've just used it for so long that I've learned the pattern and am able to control it quite well. So it might feel differently in your hands 👍
I am always unsure about one thing... two of his gear pieces don't even support his main weapon as it's LMG damage and Rifle damage. Wouldn't it be better to have gear pieces, that actually boost the EB?
the gloves and the kneepads are named pieces with unique attribute on it, being damage to armor and damage to targets out of cover. the damage bonuses amplifying other bonuses outweights the brand bonuses which are usually just crit or weapon damage that are additive to themselves. fox+contractor has been in every build in existence ever so i assume you are new to division 2 or just dont read the gears(?) somehow? so to answer your question, no it wouldn't be better because these two are best in slot for EB and already boost it by a significant amount.
@millyzett The Contractors and Foxes specifically are widely considered as best-in-slot items for many builds, even when not using LMG's/Rifles that would take advantage of their brand bonuses. This being because their unique damage stats are calculated differently than normal weapon damage, equaling higher total return on your DPS output
If you want more weapon dmg, then Picros holster is the perfect fit.. if not, then replacing it would be the better solution.. to me, it all depends on what your looking for and then build around that.
It's certainly not a requirement! You could use the St Elmo's, or for a high-end alternative, I recommend the Police M4, FAMAS, Carbine-7, or Honey Badger
Division 2 has become too complicated now, hopped on for the 1st time since the new patch, and I was so lost with all the modifiers and how the season works as far as rewards. They should've kept it simple 😅

These builds and your tips are making me want to give the DZ a real shot (instead of my usual panicky jump-in-jump-out) over the holidays.
It can be a lot of fun if you get into the flow of it!

Good shit man 💪🏼
An underrated piece of gear is everyday carrier, makes the firewall armour kit even more busted and you can have a chance of having plenty of armour kits with its efficient perk
Its not underrated at all its used in 90% of conflict and DZ tank builds for maximum stale and survivability
@ I don’t do dark zone or conflict much so I didn’t know it would be commonly used
Cool Gameplay bro 😎
Love your content RG 🤙🏽
🙏 Much appreciated!
Thats the meta build from like eight patches ago.
I do run 2.0 so I definitely going to update to 3.0
Good 1 again mate may even get me in the dz when I've maxed everything out. 👌👍🏻
In that opening fight ... Was someone using Bluescreen in the DZ!? That red icon in your buff/debuffs
Yep 😄
Nice video ❤❤
Thank you!

I wanted to ask, where did you get that hoodie RogueGold? Been trying to find it but no success
It's the "Outcast Redeemed Hoodie," was introduced in the store recently. It might rotate back around in the future, so keep an eye out 👍
can anyone explain why take the contractor gloves with the pointless LMG damage gear bonus ? why not use something else ?
Hey! Contractors are used because the Damage to Armor stat they offer is calculated multiplicatively, instead of flat weapon damage or other additive bonuses. So if you compare the damage numbers using Contractors to other stuff, you'll see how the numbers are influenced by that 👍

Is this good for farming activities in the DZ too? Or just hand to hand combat? Thanks!
Yeah! I tried to show a little bit of that with the clip at 0:49, but this will definitely do great for Landmark farming too
Yo does buffs and nerfs on xbox and playstation same as pc or nah .. just entirely different Division 2
Should be all across the game as a whole.
@theretroaiden2107 The Division 2 is the same game and has the same items, talents, etc. across all platforms 👍

@@RogueGold Then you must not play PvP. This is common knowledge among PvP players since WONY when they changed the gear system.
If I do not have the Eagle Bearer, would the Strega be a good sub? Or nope?
Strega certainly isn't bad- but the lower mag size and on-kill talent make it a bit iffy for PVP IMO. I recommend the St Elmo's, or a high-end option like the FAMAS, Carbine-7, Honey Badger, or Police M4

Firewall mask, Outcast Redeemed Hoodie, Thermite pants, Capitol Police boots 👍
What was the biggest challenge you faced while making this video?
I had some IRL distractions while trying to finalize and post it
Just as I was working on the Slayer 2.0 build..
Fortunately there's not *too* many different pieces involved. And keep in mind that the 2.0 setup still works great!
