The closer you stand to the boss the more damage you can deal to the shield via reflective and ricochet as more of the bosses attacks and hitting you. I’ve got a OE/END/SENT hellcat with medic pump and 5/5 reflective and I can get the whole fight done in 1.50 with just the occasional bust with a heavy to trigger bullet shield. Of course once the shield comes down it’s auto axe time. Great VID wiggle wiggle wiggle.
I'm getting it around 1:20 without 4* anything. His shield goes down in about :50. What is your Luck at? I think higher the luck the faster ricochet procs. Mine is in the low 20's after whiskey and happy go lucky, higher with nuka dark but whiskey is quicker to farm.
I wonder if Tanky's or Aegis might be better than Reflective for min/maxing, since they offer even higher resistances. Also, I learned from AngryTurtle that you can continuously reload a harpoon gun with Resilient to gain even more ballistic resistance.
Damage Resistance (DR) and Energy Resistance (ER) are non-linear in their scaling. Meaning more resistance doesn't mean you take less damage equally. ~350DR/ER is the hard limit, and while you Can get higher, you'll be getting single digit percentages of actual damage reduction, or less.
I switched to Medics Pump from Protocols. Is there a cool down on Medic Pump or when you get to 50% it pops a stim no matter when the last time was? Thank you! Also, Junk Shield with 100 Cork maxes out the DR with only 3 pounds of weight. You all probably know this, someone taught me this I thought I would pass it along.
@@gordiausprime614auto stim in a pice of armor, Medic pump and Born survivor. As long as you have the stim packs, it becomes very, very hard to die. But the problem with medic pump is you have to give up a jet pack and I just love jet packs!

just a little advice, you have to count also 2 other things, the ammount of reflected projectail and the robot aim, what I m telling is the difference is significant if the aim of the robot is 100% and ricochet kick in the 100% of the time or aim is 80% and ricochet enter also 80% of the time cause the first will reflect 200% of the total damage while the second will be about 1/3 less effective. So the difference between the raider pa and vulcan is way more rappresentative then the second test
How much does each point of Luck influence richochet? Do we know? It’s honestly probably worth running +2L on each armor piece to proc Ricochet as much as possible to increase tankiness
Ive got similair numbers set up in perk cards, snd 4 star luck legendary card. Full set of vulcan with trouble shooters, full 2 star luck snd currently found 2 pieces of sentinals. I also have 1 4 star reflect piece but in effects my richochet chance is only 12%. Why woild mine be half your numbers? Is there anything that negatively effects it? Thanks
It's just based on Luck and Armor. Higher luck increases it. Heavy and power armor increase it by 50%. I do know that the display can be bugged and show the wrong %. You can unequip/equip Ricochet to see if that changes anything.
The 2% ballistic damage reduction per piece from the hellcat PA doesn't add more damage since it's only the armor rating that boosts the reflected damage. Hope this helps !
I would want to see testing in plain power armor and no modifiers. Is the reflect damage calculated before the modifiers or after. Ie...sentinels, troubleshooters, or overeaters. Also, your data may be flawed because you used sentinels. Once again, I look back to AT video demonstrating the sentinel's modifier not working correctly. If sentinels fails to work, it seems every modifier every bit of DR goes to zero which would mean low reflect or maybe even no reflect.
Wait a minute. Wait a darn minute. Is it possible that the four star effect Tankys that adds damage resist (up to 1000!) would be better for reflect damage than the actual reflective four star?! That could very well change the new reflective meta. I think that's worth a test.
You should have stranded next to the bot so none of the shots missed. Could have tested raider again while adding perks, changing one variable at a time, as we do not know if armor level or type has any effect in addition to dr. Could also test if increasing only dr vs only er had different results. Results also affected by how often you reflect but should normalize if the bot shoots you long enough.
I don't think I could ever jump back in those tin cans again ! I love running around bloodied at 15% health only seconds from death, and surprisingly, my resistance is pretty high at........ 640 damage & 535 energy with my secret service armor. In FO4 I used P.A. alot and even wore it in 76 the first year or so but since then its been great and since year 2 when I went bloodied theres been no turning back. Have fun P.A user's see you in the wasteland. Thank you for the video. ✌️😎 🎄

Hey sir doesnt it works if sum1 using Aegies where it should pump up or our Resistance too right? With 3 ppl running full Aegies should give every person 750 all resistance
Ok, I stand corrected. There's a "use" for higher armor even with the diminishing returns on reducing incoming damage. Just saying 'chasing every little incremental increase' may not be practical. Note: Junk Shield... adds a straight extra 100-ish DR/ER when holding junk... will do even more reflected?
You need to stack quite a bit of % reduction effects as well. Full overeaters and dodgy, or troubleshooters. A few magazines also give robot damage reduction as well.
Awesome video - am agreeing with others though, would having a full set of Vanguard for the resistance number being higher be more useful for reflective, or something like Trouvleahooter / OE for their flat damage reduction? Not sure how you would test this but it would be nice to know - perhaps one run with OE / Trouble shooters and then another run without them, but both runs having the same Physical / Energy Resistances. If there's a difference in the damage you should see it there.
Oh interesting. I'm still using my Hellcat power armor with Troubleshooter/Sentinel. When jumping up to the robot for auto-axe melee Ricoshet and Bullet Shield alone takes the shield down in 60 seconds. I will check if adding more DR can reduce this significantly enough to justify changing my tactic. At the moment I'm down to 2 minutes 30 seconds per EN06 solo run including quest reset and running back in. I think there is still room for improvement and less than 2 minutes per run is possible.
Sentinels is working for me on ps5 ....i stand in front of the robot and take 0 damage....why are players saying it dont work.....why dont you just try it instead of repeating what other players say
