Motown had the ability to take a song and have that song become a monstrous hit with different artists! Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell recorded this song before Diana Ross' rendition!
The same with " I heard it though the grapevine." with Marvin Gaye with his rendition and Gladys Knight and the pips, respectively with theirs😊
