    This is a real blow away kit ! The body is gorgeous and nobody does clear windows like Tamiya! It's definitely on my list when it's out. No engine but that brings the price down !

      Exactly - beautiful kit. And, really, you wouldn't even be able to see the engine with the rear deck lid open anyway so, yeah. No need. Although, we were looking forward to building one!!!!!

    Wahou, very beautifull. Thank Tam for this kit. That will be my first civil car kit (just rally until now). It may be missing a little photoetching (brake discs) ?

    • @ScaleCarModeler
      @ScaleCarModeler  29 дней назад

      Yes, a photoetch tree of some parts would be cool, especially the brake discs.

      I work with Tamiya on the RC side doing reviews. Started a new channel for models and they wanted to work with me on this as well.

      We are now working closely with Tamiya and are able to get pre-release kits to build and review. We’ve been doing that with them in the RC side for years.

    Just saying , many pronounce the name of this car as "posh", which is incorrect. The correct pronunciation is of course "posher" named after its founder Ferdinand Porsche.

    • @ScaleCarModeler
      @ScaleCarModeler  29 дней назад +1

      LOL, you and my wife must be related. She told me the same thing. However, while it is supposed to be pronounced 'por-sha', Porsche is also acceptable. I think :)

      @@ScaleCarModeler you are correct and Porsche (the 1:1 scale manufacturer) are not too bothered on how the world pronounce their name, so long as the world buy theirs cars 🙂

      I'm German and no, you don't pronounce it "Posher" - its Porsche. The "R" and the "E" are clearly pronounced.

    Looks like a great kit but a miss with the lack of engine

    • @ScaleCarModeler
      @ScaleCarModeler  8 дней назад +1

      Well, not really a miss - a bummer, sure. But, in all honesty, you'd never see the engine anyway with it tucked up inside the bodywork. Even if the rear hatch was open, the covers would pretty much hide it. So, we understand, but we were still looking forward to building that flat-six!!!!
