This is a real blow away kit ! The body is gorgeous and nobody does clear windows like Tamiya! It's definitely on my list when it's out. No engine but that brings the price down !
Exactly - beautiful kit. And, really, you wouldn't even be able to see the engine with the rear deck lid open anyway so, yeah. No need. Although, we were looking forward to building one!!!!!
Wahou, very beautifull. Thank Tam for this kit. That will be my first civil car kit (just rally until now). It may be missing a little photoetching (brake discs) ?
We are now working closely with Tamiya and are able to get pre-release kits to build and review. We’ve been doing that with them in the RC side for years.
Just saying , many pronounce the name of this car as "posh", which is incorrect. The correct pronunciation is of course "posher" named after its founder Ferdinand Porsche.
LOL, you and my wife must be related. She told me the same thing. However, while it is supposed to be pronounced 'por-sha', Porsche is also acceptable. I think :)
@@ScaleCarModeler you are correct and Porsche (the 1:1 scale manufacturer) are not too bothered on how the world pronounce their name, so long as the world buy theirs cars 🙂
@@MY_SCALEMODELING_CORNER I was let to believe many, many years ago, the various manufacturers use to provide TAMIYA with blueprints WITHOUT charging for them. How true this is, I am not sure. Yes let's hope.
Well, not really a miss - a bummer, sure. But, in all honesty, you'd never see the engine anyway with it tucked up inside the bodywork. Even if the rear hatch was open, the covers would pretty much hide it. So, we understand, but we were still looking forward to building that flat-six!!!!
That's awesome, thanks for showing us all the parts included with this upcoming kit! Looking forward for the release.
You bet. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I have this on pre order, looking forward to building it 👍
Excellent. An amazing kit - we're sure you're going to love it!
Dude when did it come out and how did you pre order it? I’m dying to get one
We are working closely with Tamiya on new model releases. This is a pre-production sample.

Excelente. Primer unboxing que veo de este kit
Thank you - glad you liked it!!!
Just pre ordered mine from Frontline Hobbies in Australia. Cant wait to get my hands on the kit
So far it's a great kit! Just wish it had an engine...

Yes, a photoetch tree of some parts would be cool, especially the brake discs.
Hey! Awesome video, thanks for sharing! How did you manage to get a preview build, if you don’t mind me asking?
I work with Tamiya on the RC side doing reviews. Started a new channel for models and they wanted to work with me on this as well.
@@ScaleCarModeler that’s awesome man, congrats on getting there! You have a new follower
Thanks, and appreciate it!
I plan to find a Porsche Carrera Cup North America Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992) race car livery and paint it one of those livery colors.
Nice, bet that turns out beautiful!!!
Thanks for sharing. Where did you get it?
Straight from Tamiya. Got one of their pre-release review samples.
I would do the black but with the red graphics instead the white, Red wheels off course
Yup, the black and red combo looks amazing!!!! Thanks for the idea!!
How do you get it so early?

@@ScaleCarModeler this is an awesome kit and is on my shopping list🙂
We'll be posting some 'build' photos on our Facebook page - make sure you keep an eye over there for updates.
I'm German and no, you don't pronounce it "Posher" - its Porsche. The "R" and the "E" are clearly pronounced.
Finally, now we need something from keonigsegg
Great idea! I can imagine that they will do the McLaren W1 or the Ferrari F80 as well
Would love to see BOTH of those cars produced!!!
@@ScaleCarModeler agreed! They should do that def. But i think the licence for that could be difficult or expensive.
But let's hope
Probably 'VERY' for both - for sure lol

Looks like a great kit but a miss with the lack of engine
