I'm a musician just getting into programming and having a blast learning all I can. I'm only a few months into things so I have a long way to go to even understand half of what you are doing in your videos, but they are adorable and fun to watch and are actually helping me understand number of things on a more conceptual level. A bit hard for me to pull anything I'm able to apply on my own just yet, but I feel more inspired to reach that point where I actually understand more how things work and to be able to have an idea and just.... make it.
Next part: ink writing They discover some form of ink writing, causing more curvy letters instead of the straight lines as it is much easier to write them like that in ink Might be fun to see that :)
hold up, are you telling me that this channel i just recently found and have been binging for the past couple days just so happens to have a video exploring conlangs, one of my other all time favorite hobbies? sweet 😎
the language of TodeTode has advanced quite a bit since this video! It's not really documented anywhere, just in some conversations last year on my patreon discord. Here's the updated alphabet: github.com/TodePond/TodeTode/blob/main/docs/Symbols.md
@@TodePond neat! i have to say i preferred some of the intermediate glyphs over the final ones. i liked the square ripples for water, and the angular wings of the fly. it would be interesting to consider a different medium than wood. like clay tablets for instance. cuneiform was written with styli made from reeds pressed into clay after all, both of which can be found in ponds!
tode pond saga is simply one of the top sagas out there. thanks for the new installment!
Thank you Max! Thanks for joining the quest!
@@TodePondI wanna be a tode
I love the little cinematic shots you put at the end of your videos, this one specifically makes me think the todes have mastered graffiti 😂
Thanks! And yes! I'm glad you noticed the link. The todes got really good at drawing pictures 🖌️🐸
This video was a surprise; I was sure this it going to be markov chains but it was something far more whimsical and creative 🐸
Haha great, thanks! You found my strangest video! 🐸
I like how everything is toad and has toad
Thanks, me too!
crucial tode lore 👀
As a conlanger, this is really cool.
Here before this becomes the biggest programing channel. This video is perfect!
Haha thank you!! This video is actually one of the more divisive ones! People seem to either love it or hate it! :) No regrets though!

This is kinda underrated. Enjoyed it. A unique channel, watched almost all of it.
wind sounds like /ʍ/ (hw) to me
also conlang in a non-conlang channel spotted
What has this channel turned it to
(not complaining)
I'm not sure! :)

@@TodePond from what ive seen, it seems to be abit like chinese where a symbol has a meaning instead of a sound, but it doesnt show that in the video
this channel is extremely underrated
Wait wind is a /w/ sound!
Yes that would work!
Or maybe /sh/
so here the trip begins? xD

I cannot remember the Tode language… Can you separate them like this?
Letter name - Pronounciation - Extracted sound
de phrog
_ + ^ = ⊃ (there was no squared ⊃)
