Why do you hook the minnows by the tail at 4:30 min of the video? When you cast and retrieve, it's best to hook by mouth or eyes. Kind of odd to see you hook it up like you are bobber fishing.

Yeah my dad told me afterwards to hook by the mouth or eyes. Been too used to crappie fishing.

Pretty much the entire summer before fall hits. You should be able to find them near shorelines during the summer.
